transplantbillsfan
I don't think it's an overreaction for the suspension. Players get suspended for in game fights all the time. This is the end of the game off the field and pushing a cameraman with a bunch of equipment and no pads or helmet to the ground. The guy could have gotten seriously hurt. Heat of the game is no excuse. If he comes (came?) out with a genuine apology about that after, I'd probably change my mind on him being a price. Yes, I realize this video was in the game thread from last night, but it seems to deserve its own discussion. EDIT: Sincere apology: Edited October 11, 2022 by transplantbillsfan 1 1 5

May Day 10
He did apologize after the game. But yeah, he deserves punishment. I dont want to make a rash character judgement on that though. In the heat of a very tough and disappointing game/ending. The guy seemed to come out of nowhere and appear right in his way... a split second decision to shove him. Very poor decision, bad restraint... thenorthremembers
So his solution was to apologize on social media and hope the guy saw it? Better figure out how to get a hold of the guy personally before the he lawyers up. Edited October 11, 2022 by thenorthremembers 2

I'm sorry that he felt that way, but what he did was wrong and he should answer for it. Life is a matter of degree, and this is not remotely close to some off-field incidents with which the NFL has had to deal. CA OC Bills Fan
He claimed he "felt horrible immediately." Well, if this were true, why didn't he go back to the guy, check to see that he's ok, and, if still on the ground help him up. Besides the obvious that was already pointed out, that this apology was on social media instead of reaching out to him directly, bs, fine the crap out of him and suspend him. 1

Beast
Fans that engage in this type of behavior are usually banned from stadiums. I’m not saying Adams should be banned from the league but I believe a multi-game suspension is warranted. 30 minutes ago, transplantbillsfan said: I don't think it's an overreaction for the suspension. corta765
So after the game media is explicitly told not to be in the way its basically a no fly zone at that area of the end zone let alone being in the middle. The shove 100% was not warranted and had he helped the guy get up its a non issue. Even though the dude 100% should not have been there and made a major mistake in his own right, the action still was not justified and the NFL may use Adams as an example behavior wise while probably quietly taking that guys media credentials for a bit. Well, he did chose that for himself. Was apparently very happy about plying with the Raiders and Carr. Maybe he should have taken a little less money and stayed with the Packers and a real QB. on that note, I’m sure Rodgers wishes he took less money and actually have some decent NFL caliber WRs to throw too. DieHardBillsFan
IDK, I may be in the minority, but its not like DA sped up to bump him or push him over. The guy was about to walk right into him. The guy had clear vision on the player, which you can see on the video. I would say the player has "right of way". Obviously an over reaction by DA but also the reactions of this board imo. 53 minutes ago, Beast said: Fans that engage in this type of behavior are usually banned from stadiums. BigPappy
Relax. He apologized on camera post game. He admitted his emotions got the better of him, and felt genuinely bad about pushing the guy. Ya'll need to stop acting like you don't let your emptions get the better of you and never act out in a manner that is not your best self. At least he owned up to it. Nobody's perfect. More than one NFL commentator mentioned that they were surprised that he acted in that way because he is considered one of the nicest guys in the NFL (not my words, theirs). 2

He was probably most upset because he juggled a sideline ball that would have put them in very close to FG range. Might also have something to do with his head coach, who is way too used to a guy named Tom turning nearly any playcall he makes into gold. Instead of getting the yard or two to keep the drive alive, the plays called forced Carr to try to exploit deeper coverage which are always tougher to get right when players are grabbing hard at the end of the game knowing the officials will rarely bite.
