Game goes well he might get some playing time, though I guess even if it well out of reach they'd still want the rookie to get reps.

Bills2022
This trap game is a real concern. I would have rather faced Mitch. When teams start rookies they often get a great effort from everyone else because they know they need to step up their game. Tomlin is really smart too. He is starting the rookie knowing it will fire up his team. Steelers are the Steelers. We need to start out fast. Can't give the kid any confidence. He can play. Buddo
Is there going to be an over/ under on how long he lasts before he’s pulled. I like Tomlin, but I think he’s going to regret this move for this week. our D could well give the kid fits. He might have liked the supposed spark he gave them offensively, but sometimes you have to consider who you are playing before making this sort of move.
Rc2catch
What a terrible move. Why do they even keep Rudolph? I have seen absolutely nothing from Pittsburgh that says a rookie quarterback is going to help fix the issues they have on offense. He’ll be shell shocked by week 10 and probably never recover. And my favorite part, they’ll fire the coach and/or the coordinator in the offseason and Pickett will have to learn a whole new offense
BuffaloBills1998
That name Pickett is not going to age well lol. Even though he’s a rookie he didn’t look promising in the slightest

Beast
Kid is going to be looking to get the ball out of his hands fast. That’s a recipe for a pick 6. In fact, I’m predicting just that and I bet it will be Taron Johnson. Edited October 3, 2022 by Beast

Trap games don't exist in reality. They only exist in the minds of some sports fans, like you. You are effectively worried about the Boogie Man. He doesn't exist either. Steptide
Wouldn't be shocked if he plays good against the bills. This is common when a new starting qb comes in for the first 3 or 4 games. I don't think the bills will lose this game, but won't be shocked if he makes some nice plays Edited October 3, 2022 by Steptide

There was about 30% or so Steelers fans in the stadium. How many Steelers fans will be there. Btw the 4th quarter fans were watching fights in the stands more than the game. Based on how things go with us, we will make this kid look like Tom Brady 2.0 coming off the bench to replace a hurt Drew Bledsoe. I know, I'm a pessimist. Can you blame me though?
