John from Riverside
The interesting part of this for me is the teams that don’t play will get better pics that’s the way the draft goes but our GM is so good that he is finding starters with later pics Binford and Elam looked very good last night I was listening to the tube the other day and somebody had mentioned that the Buffalo Bills have got more of their draft picks on the roster than any other team Edited September 20, 2022 by John from Riverside
skibum
I think it's fair to say that I, and likely many Bills fans, may appreciate wins more when the team is an underdog, and that it is strange and uncomfortable being the favorite every week. But I sure as hell don't miss losing. 2

Fans come up with all the ways that the Bills will lose each week. It’s always how is some aspect of the Bills defense going to stop the strengths of the other team’s offense. Its like as if our strengths cease to exist. I know we have a good team. I'm not just so high on them that it doesn't matter who we play (at least talking about it openly). That being said, I'm a total homer in the game day thread and will talk my smack there but not gonna do it to people that see I have a bills shirt on and say something to me about them in passing. I don't miss losing and I don't want to lose, I am grateful every single second for what we get to witness now. But there were definitely feelings in the drought that cannot be replicated now, not all of them completely terrible. And I am not taking anything for granted, but I can feel how easy it could be to slip into that mindset- not even enjoying a September win, since I expect it and since the real season starts in January. The reality is that both of these first two games, and 12 others in the josh allen Era, would be top 3 games of my bills fanhood for the first 14 years of its existence. I do my best to remember this. But I understand that simple joys I could experience in 2017, for example, have completely ceased to exist. Well said. Talley56
I do wonder if anyone sees me drive by with my Bills' bumper sticker and thinks "what a bandwagoner". I mean, I know I was a fan through every last drought year and that's all that really matters but I am always curious.

Jerry Jabber
After 17 years of miserable football teams, the current Bills team is what I have been praying for. JimBob2232
Its funny. It has completly changed football for me. I used to care if the Ravens and Steelers won or lost - because MAYBE...just MAYBE..it would be enough for the bills to squeak into the playoffs - then anything can happen. Now i dont give an F. Bills are going to make the playoffs barring a complete implosion. Its fun to watch. But it does take away some of the thrill of the hunt! But I'll take it and enjoy these years because I probably wont see anything else like it in my lifetime. We could be watching the makings of one of the best QBs of all time. It was pathetic getting excited if our QB threw for over 200yards and other teams/fans just laughing at us. This is real and nothing beats winning and beating teams . You sounds like Pats how fans talk now. I listen and read Pats fans talking about how they believe Mac Jones can improve arm strength like Josh Allen through offseason work. LMAO That was us before, I like winning and just want Beanne to continue to add more talented players. 1 hour ago, Einstein said: Before you immediately jump to answer "NO", realize that this question does not mean that you don't like winning. I get the point I think you might be eluding to.. Its easy to pay a little less attention now, there’s not a lot of drama, easy to accept the front office and team are doing all the right things… the results are there- the locker room is harmonious. it’s such a well run org top to bottom… that’s a relief and a lot less work to keep up with 😉 I think this is what the OP means. He misses the work of being a fan. Anyone can be a fan of a winning team, it took some special dedication and interest back then. Not that we all are not crazy dedicated and interested still (ex. long threads about punters ability to hold), so I see the OPs point. But I do not miss it. Would rather debate the 5th WR or punter after a 20 pt win!
