Browns did what Browns do. Failed Right. Everyone played under the same rules. It was incumbent on the teams to ensure players and coaches were following the rules, staying safe, etc and also that they had back up plans. Some teams were poor at it, some were unlucky, but I see no difference between this and any other year when injuries can and do affect teams ability to win.

A ball that is intentionally muffed, and goes forward or backward, is a batted ball (12-1-8). ... If the player loses possession after he has tucked the ball into his body, it is a fumble. 1 minute ago, klos63 said: each win cost them a different QB in the draft. Huh? Big C
Quick rules question regarding the fumbles within two minutes. I know the player that fumbled is the only one that can advance the ball. My question is: if the QB fumbles the ball, can he pick it up and then pass it since he is the player that fumbled the ball? Or does the term "advance" apply strictly to running with the ball? I am a little foggy on the terminology.

SCBills
Certainly seems, with how today has played out, that we will be playing out the last 2 weeks as normal (minus resting anyone who’s banged up).
