krf139
One thing that was obvious during the game yesterday was a few clear as day f-bombs heard from the field. I get it's football, there are no fans and it's easier to hear what's going on (in many ways, it's a positive to have more sound from the field), but something the NFL should probably address. If they can pipe in crowd noise, there should be an easy fix for this. 1

CLTbills
I loved it after the Thursday night game... you could hear it, clear as crystal, "RIGHT TO THE ******* LOCKER ROOM!" From Vic Fangio. Love it.

BarleyNY
I get why some people don’t want to hear that, or have their kids hear it. But I’d watch games hearing only the field sounds every game if I could. No fan noise, no announcers - just audibles, line calls, defensive adjustments and expletive infused trash talking. Bliss.
Pasaluki
I guess they could have a video delay but complaining about f-bombs in football is a little bit funny to me. Players and fans and coaches have been dropping f-bombs probably since the leather helmets. As long as the FCC is cool with it why worry?
Lagoon Blues
One of the only perks of no fans in my opinion. On field sounds are something average fans don't get to hear much if at all.
clayboy54
To me, it sounded like most of the F-bombs were coming from Chucky, or at least from his sidelines.

I can recall in the past they came down on people for much less, maybe one time hearing an F bomb as opposed to multiple times. Agree in today's day and age, no big deal, but it is to the FCC. That seems to be their one sacred cow

Nineforty
For me, they're just words. Under most circumstances, I love it. C-word, F-word, it don't matter. Love 'em all. Kill 'em with kindness? Kill 'em with a nicely timed F-bomb. 2

Livinginthepast
I've noticed this in all sports. The crowd adds a massive amount of white noise to what's being said on the field or playing surface and is kind of like a mild censor for the swearing going on. There isnt enough of delay on the broadcast to stop it anyway. Personally I think its really cool to hear everything unfiltered from the field. Yesterday was getting pretty testy. The Raiders have a bunch of thugs on their team so it was hardly surprising that regular F bombs were dropped.

wjag
I doubt anyone on here cares. I bet the FCC does. I bet the networks televising them care if the FCC starts handing out fines. We could very well progress to a tape delay if it continues. Do I care, not in the least.

Coffeesforclosers
Every channel broadcasts soccer games now. And you can't watch an English Premier League match without hearing 20-70,000 people singing "***** off Chelsea FC" or "1 Nil, then you ***** it up". The FCC hasn't done anything about it, nor should they.

The condensed is great because it eliminates the banter from between the whistle and snap. Plus you wan watch a whole game in 40 minutes or so. The all 22 has no sound. It’s serene. Usually about 90 minutes and you see every play twice (different camera angles). Put on music, talk about the game with a friend or just watch in peaceful silence. Either is so much better than the regular broadcast. I watch regular broadcasts live on Sunday, but usually watch other games in those formats during the week even if MNF or TNF are on live.
