Postgame Thread Bills vs Rams

I love how the Rams board is mad about the last defensive holding on Gabe. They are complaining but seriously the terrible INT call completely changed the game.

That's a 50/50 type call, its not an illegitimate type call but it isn't an obvious type call either. If that was called against the Bills the fan in me would be pissed but I also as an objective person can't say that it wasn't something that could have been called either.

At least that one was debatable, the int was fictional Bs that turned momentum for the rams

Yeah pretty much everyone including Periera said that phantom INT should have been changed. Kroft clearly had posession when his butt hit the ground. The Rams got a TON of calls today so I'm hardly going to weep for the blatant hold on Gabe.

Refs screwed us the interception ( which should not go against Allen)

Made up for it on the interception.

Allen is great but needs to get rid of the ball sooner, also needs to run more when given the opportunity.

Pass blocking is trash again, hopefully Beane addresses this in the offseason.

Defense is missing the big DTs to stop the run. Also tackling is horrendous and can we tighten up on the WRs a little bit ??? Woods embarrassed us out there.

Good players and good scheme for those Rams.

Thats a tough Offence to stop

I get we were tired in the 4th after giving up long drives all game but isn't that where the defensive line depth is supposed to shine through? Goff had all day back there. Four man rush, blitzes, it didn't matter.

Credit the offense for coming through again.

My buddies mom is a rams fan and started talking trash as soon as they took the lead. Phone was blowing up for the last 5 minutes of the game.

As soon as we took the lead I just hit her with a 😁

Hasnt answered back yet.

The bills were fortunate today.  Allen is clutch but he also played some hero ball today.  Maybe you can’t have one without the other.   He needs to be more reactionary on plays like 1 and 10.   No sense doing wild things.

When your defense craps the bed, you do what you have to do to get the win. Hero or not, he’s MY quarterback!

My response there is, and will always be - if the D is giving up long drives, that is theirs to control.  Get the stop, get off the field.

If the D lets them march them backwards 99 yards, that's on them.

Wonder what narrative will be from the haters this week?

1. The travel hurt the Rams Circadian rythum.

2. The Rams D is not as good as the Jets or Dolphins.

3. The crowd noise hurt the Ram audibles.

4. Allen goes for over 300 again with 5 total TDs but he's still trash.

5. I don't care if they go 19-0, they're still not very good.

Feel free to enter your own. I need material for all the football forums I'll be chiming in on.

"The Bills barely beat a struggling 2-1 team."

After the game I felt empty.  I am glad e we won of course, but I did not have elation that I normally feel with a Bills win.

I think they broke me...

I know what you mean.  I just told my wife after the game "I feel like I just had the world's most difficult bowel movement."  I'm relieved but at the same time exhausted.

There is seriously no point to instant replay if it can’t get a basic call like that correct.  None.

I think we might be overrating this play. Yes, it was a terrible call. No doubt about that. However, if it had been ruled correctly, the Bills would have had first and 28 from their own 7.5 yard line. Assuming they don’t get a first, they punt, and the Rams get the ball at roughly the same spot - maybe 5-10 yards further back. That extra yardage would have helped, i admit, but the bills couldn’t stop the rams anyway.
