It is 14-2 vs 14-2.  That is correct.  The Bills have 100% total control over the AFC if they win out.

This is a moot point.  Bills will not be 14-2 this year.  You really think we'll beat the Ravens?

Ozzy Newsome was awsome.

He is a HoF GM... who whiffed BIG TIME on his first QB drafted. People shouldnt forget that.

But the stability of ownership allowed him to stay the course, learn from his mistakes, and correct it. They didnt burn the whole thing down after Boller busted. They let him bring in McNair to right the ship, and re-draft Flacco. And while Flacco didnt turn out to be a HoFer, he DID win a Super Bowl.

Why are the trolls out in force making this about comparing Allen to Jackson?  It's apples & oranges.  I love what Jackson is doing.  It's igniting excitement & creativity into the NFL.

The college game is so much better football then the pro game because every week you have run option QB's going up against pocket passers going up against pass happy spread offenses.  You don't see one size fitting all in the college game.  How much better would the pro game be if you had multiple Jackson's and multiple Brady's and multiple Rogers and multiple Allens.  All playing different styles of QB.

But enough with the stupid comparisons between Allen & Jackson and even worse arguing the Bills should have drafted Jackson instead.  Because the same argument could be made about Cleveland & the Jets who took other QB's even higher in the draft.

Because then if the Bills win out, they will have Beaten NE in NE, and would win the tie breaker against them giving them the #1 seed, therefore the Bills are in control because they just have to win out.......

Beating NE in NE doesn’t win us the tiebreaker. Maybe you guys should step away from fantasy land and actually look at the tiebreaker rules.

You realize if the Bills and Pats are 14-2 they win on strength of schedule?

It isn't strength of schedule. In is AFC record.  The Bills will have one lose to the Patriots.  The Patriots have will have two AFC losses to the Bills and Ravens.

What is to explain? If the Patriots lose tonight the Bills control their own destiny.  They win out and they are the #1 seed in the AFC. Period.

Assuming the Bills win every game and the pats only lose the Ravens and Bills (2nd) game, they will be tied in division record at 5-1. Next tiebreaker is conference record. There the Bills will be 11-1 and the Pats 10-2 so I guess the Bills would win the AFC East. The next tiebreaker would be strength of schedule. Pats have the edge there.

I see that now. You are right.
