The nail in the coffin IMO was both a practice squad player out playing him in his first game and Zay not showing any accountability on a play he could have helped break up. I remember a game against the Jets where he was really starting to light things up and then he sprained his ankle... The dude possesses a lot of the desirable traits you want in a player, hes fast, shifty, works hard...just never seemed to make that defining play. Had some big drops too.
