Einstein
Is refreshing. Gabe being out allowed us to get our playmakers like Hardy and Shakir on the field more often (more snaps to go around). And they both delivered at key times! And it’s not just the opponent. That Steelers defense was #6 in the NFL in points against, and that was the MOST points the Steelers gave up all season (and that’s even with TWO missed field goals). 10 1 2 17

It’s about the team. Having Shakir, Hardy and Sherfield on the field gives us three explosive and twitchy playmakers that stress the defense. Its also no coincidence in my opinion that Gabe doesn’t play today and Allen doesn’t throw an INT for only the second time in 12 or so weeks. 7 4 1

We can agree to disagree on the first point a bit, but the 2nd point is underrated.

He does so many good things… but then drops a wide open pass that hits him square in the hands. Frustrating. I’d also like to see Kincaid go up and get the ball too. He would have had a 2nd TD if he didn’t wait for the ball to get to him (allowed the defender to deflect it). If he had went up and hand-caught it (ala Gronk), he would unlock a new level. 2

Josh needs/deserves guys who catch balls almost always. Kincaid is amazing. I think Shakir is next guy up to show out. HappyDays
Next step, every pass thrown to Knox should be thrown to Kincaid. Diggs Kincaid Shakir RBs That should be 90% of our passing targets right there. 3 5
Mynamemike
I think him being the number two is the issue. He’s a guy that should be in on running downs and when we’re in four wides as at third or fourth downfield option. He’s not a great route runner and struggles at making contested catches. sven233
While it would be nice to have him active for depth in case someone gets hurt, he should be nothing more than the 4th WR on this team. The offense is just more efficient without him. 1

So having him in place of those wouldn't matter as long as Kincaid or Shakir are Joshs's early reads Your analysis of the game is a bit myopic in my opinion. Having those playmakers on the field, with their speed, was stressing the Steelers defense. Did you notice we had more open receivers this week (the first two TD’s were very open) than usual? It’s in part due to the stress that the speed on the field had on the Steelers. They had to compensate for it. And this man has to get the ball more: 1
EmotionallyUnstable
Okay ppl pump the breaks. They had a good game on offense. A single game. With 200 passing yards. Let’s not chase away a player who has been a large part of our success over the years. A fair question to ask and to discuss but to flat out claim we are better is hasty. 1
Donuts and Doritos
Don't know if we were better, but we definitely weren't worse without him, which is the definition of replaceable. GoBills!
Gabe Davis is the new Robert Woods for us. So pass and thank you for your time. Knox was signed to a dumb deal and we have to eat it, he is like a 14-15 million cap hit which is nuts for a TE unless it’s Kelce. That’s a great 1b receiver pay. Maybe we can rework his deal but we are stuck until 2025.

WhitewalkerInPhilly
I have defended Gabe to an extent, but the offense didn't miss a beat.
