Is this true?

Yes.  Someone printed the link below.

They sent an email to season ticket holders about their parking rights, which aren't changing.  They included a link to the rules.  RV lot closed until the new stadium opens.

It would be a great day save for those whining and crying about "taxpayers"... and yet those who secured the deal were elected by the people.

Such awesome news!!!! Can't wait to visit the new digs... worth the wait!

Says the guy from Eastern Ohio   😂.

But honestly, imagine all the NY Jets and NY Giants fans that live in NYS and NYC and have to pay for the stadium.

If you know a fan of either team, give them a "thanks for the new stadium tomorrow" at work.

Believe me, it's not by choice, taking care of my wife's family as they have bad medical issues... this area is an absolute dump with mostly horrible people, probably worse than Detroit. I'd move back to NY in a heartbeat and never look back if I could.

Having spent my whole life knwing only Rich Stadium as the home of the Bills, this seems kinda sad to me.  I know the place was old, but there wasn't a bad seat in the joint, and other than the lack of restrooms, it was by far the easiest stadium to get around in.  You could get in from any gate, that can't be said at many of these new stadiums.  Ohh well, at least that keeps the team in Buffalo till I'm dead...

Older fans and middle class fans won't be able to afford the games.

I guess this is progress...

Thats our reality

You see when my parents were growing up only 1 parent needed a full time job to raise a family

When I was growing up 1 parent worked fulltime and the 2nd parent had a part time gig

The next generation you needed 2 full time jobs

this latest generation will need 2 full time jobs and a side hustle

NOW imagine kids being born tday and what will be expected from them to maintain middle class status

so basically if you want nice things like football tickets or seasons you better work that sidehustle, a 2nd job, or sacrafice a chunk of other expenses....

When the Lamar's become the highest paid player someone has to pay for it.... and most of us will pay for it via TV revenue cause thats what we can afford

Yeah I dreamed about moving back to Buffalo and buying season tickets but my reality has set in.... I choose retirement and watching most games on TV maybe I'll pick up a ticket or 2 but I'm not buying a PSL + tickets

I actually found bones on a construction site one time a few years back. I got to hold the jaw bone of a Native American in my hands. Super cool! The archeologist said it was something like 600 hundred years old. Turns out the site was a village, not a burial ground, so with the help of the local tribe we re-interned the bones on the property and made an educational walking path out of the location. Luckily it didn’t delay our construction all that much.

That is pretty cool! Maybe, if they find bones on the site and treat them with respect, there will be a reverse curse nd we will win 4 Super Bowls in a row.

not all of them and sure as hell not enough of them in Buffalo... We are a blue collar town living blue collar lives mostly

What i predict is going ot happen.. wealthy people or those trying to make a profit will pick up most of the tickets and most will be up for resell...

I certainly understand the sentiment but I have to ask why aren’t ticket prices sky high in the current stadium? I mean what’s stopping them? Is there some secret switch that’s being thrown?

Where are all the "wealthy people" buying the tickets living right now?

Just as immediately can apparently mean "in a month", literally can apparently mean "figuratively"

Or.... you know, immediately can actually mean, immediately.

They specifically said that June 1st was the Ceremonial groundbreaking.

No PSL's, and a realitively large increase in ticket prices which are sure to happen with the new stadium IMO

tickets are cheap compared to the rest of the NFL so I'm not even sure where this thought is coming from. I expect more out of towners making the purchase for purely resale when the new stadium is ready

I have family and friends who don't make much money but stil can afford season tickets

add in a PSL and obvious ticket price increases and I see a goods chunk of them not being able to renew with the new stadium

Check out the prices differences listed in this article.. Pretty obvious why low and average middle class can still afford itwithout the PSLs attached

Keep in mind that the prices reflect those set by sellers on TickPick in particular.

Kind of.  That's a view of ECC's field which is on the other side of current Hymark from where the stadium is to be built.  It's a staging area.

It came from your post--I bolded it.  You said Buffalo fans are blue collar and can't afford the tikets/PSLs, yet you then claimed all of these "wealthy people will buy them

Well they legally couldn't do anything until the approval happened.

They could have just sat around until June 1st for the ground breaking ceremony.

So the fact that it's not technically construction stuff is still happening now, literally, to start building the new stadium.

People…please! Everything isn’t a controversy. The groundbreaking CEREMONY is just that…a ceremony. It’s not at all unusual for this sort of thing to occur many weeks after actual construction activity has commenced. For example, with the new stadium there are asphalt parking areas that need to first be removed. That activity is not conducive to having public officials turning dirt with a gold shovel.

There’s nothing to see here!
Sheesh

Wait, so the public officials won't be there putting in 8 hours running heavy equipment?

Looks like Hammers will be the closest private lot, unless they take it from him.

Hammer said on twitter a while back that  he was told no private lot holders would be affected. Obviously things can change, but according to him they should be all good.

We need one of those live cameras to track the progress. Have the urinals been installed yet?

They said they will have a 24 hour live feed online at some point so we can watch all the hard labor happening.

Yeah but many of those wealthy people will be from out of town who will simply place tickets the resell sites

They'll sell some tickets but I predict a considerable amount of todays season ticket holders will be priced out...

like I said I have family members and friends who are season ticket holders wondering if they can afford it.....

Man, I still remember when people were talking about the "Toronto Bills," and our whole future as fans was in doubt.

Very grateful.

Don't forget knob in Albany talking about 'Austin Bills".

Some are just contrarians to get attention.

Voluntarily giving up seniority right before the biggest season ticket holder seat shuffle since 1972 is an interesting choice.

Was leaving once they charged the fee in 3 yrs anyways. I'll go to 1-2 games a yr and be content. I live 5 minutes away from stadium and prefer to watch at home.
