I'm tickled by the little Josh interactions with the dog during the show. You see little hints of the scope of the Josh personality. The dog brings him a toy, expecting to be indulged and play, the dog gets on the furniture, clearly easy-going loving 'dog parent'. Then "You quit your whining back there!" said in a No Nonsense, I mean Business voice and the dog is like 'whoops, OK Boss!" I can't remember what the score was but the game felt out of hand at that point... and he's yelling "mount up mafia!". Almost no one was responding.. it was cringeworthy. Part and parcel to trying to manufacture something that wasn’t there. Same thing with the Hamlin intro in the video board. I believe that ran before the Chase drop on the end zone. It was noticeable that he was absent this week. He's obviously really bummed out at how the season ended, as he should be. What makes this worse than last year, other than apparent reasons (cap, coaches, etc), is that end of last year there was at least the hope/thought that we might have best QB in NFL, at least 2nd. Just read an article about Carr being released by the Raiders. His stats and especially that of his defense in big games should probably give people pause on the screw defense, only offense approach so many are clamoring for.
