Southern_Bills
Seems like no one wants to make the call. The NFL wants to leave it up to teams and teams want to leave it to local/state government. Seems like it will be left wide open to anyone with a ticket, no one wants to be the bad guy. *Disclaimer* Nothing I say on this topic is my personal feelings just what I *think* is actually happening. I miss those days I actually plan on having a paper ticket. Ticketmaster gave me that option when I bought my opening day ticket & I took it because in 2019 I had a problem with the e-ticket at the gate. Eventually it worked but I had to go to one of the ticket kiosks & it worked, but my 1st time at the gate nobody could figure out how to bring up my ticket. This is a general question that has nothing to do with this reply: To those who went to the playoff games, what did they do at the gate for you to prove your Covid negativity? Did it take a while or were you able to go pretty fast?

They checked our printouts of the negative PCR tests and also checked our photo IDs to make sure the names matched.

Did it take a while or were you able to go pretty fast? Apologies to the OP for this tangent, but it’s a sore spot. I’ll take a paper ticket every time if I can get it from a reliable source. (EDIT: I got a paper ticket from @Heitz 2-3 years ago, so that was semi-reliable! ) I just clicked on the One Buffalo App on my phone and it opens for a half second, then closes. If I had to re-load it on a game day, I’d need my passwords which are home in a drawer. I had the Falcons App when the Bills played here a few years ago, but it took 3 separate “IT Specialists” at the stadium to make it work. The “experts” who do this for a living could not make it work! There was something in my location settings it didn’t like (and I wasn’t crazy about changing). I freely admit I’m not an IT Wizard, but even the wizards couldn’t make it work. I know they do things for their reasons, but if they can’t make it more simple and reliable....I’ll take paper all day long! Rant over, please carry on! . richNjoisy
I am very sorry to answer the original question with factual information and not joke or add commentary: The Erie County Executive, Mark Poloncarz, has stated he has the power to set the policy for attendance at Highmark stadium as being Full Attendance=Fully vaccinated. The Governor of NY, Andrew Cuomo says only he has the power to set such a standard and that he has not made any decision on this yet. Therefore, there is no official policy yet. My conjecture is that we are heading to a combination of fully vacinated for entry and proof of negative test for those unvacinated. This is what makes sense to me. 2 1

The Jokeman
For what it's worth here the rules to attend Blue Jays game in Buffalo. If you are vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 test can be presented at the entrance per the Governor's guidelines and will allow for normal stadium seating. Blue Jays spokesperson explained that the team plans to be flexible and will accept a birth certificate, school ID, even a passport. The ID, like a driver's license, will just need to match the name on your vaccination card or proof of a negative test. Those who are unvaccinated and without a COVID-19 test will be seated in separate sections with will have a 33 percent capacity limit and will require six-foot distancing with masks. https://www.wgrz.com/article/news/local/questions-about-toronto-blue-jays-in-buffalo-2021/71-e2f00998-3707-4acc-b7cc-013b6c28617f

OK, I’ll take a shot at the top of the list; 1) Shot card? Bowling ball or navel? I’d have to know who’s navel first. Pics? 2) Party affiliation? I’d say Hammers Lot. 3) Fandom Questionnaire? If you are there, you pass. 4) Breathalyzer test? If you passed, you failed. 5) Urine test? Hopefully not down your leg. 6) Stool sample? @plenzmd1 will meet you in the upper bowl when the gates open. @Seasons1992 can vouch for him. 7) Blue cheese or ranch? @Royale with Cheese is in trouble on this one. He just might get voted off the island/tailgate. 8 )Wing style preference? @plenzmd1 “supervised wings” in the lot post-game. 9) Birth Certificate? Some of us pre-date those. 10) Armed forces? What branch? The LOWEST branch. You know this crowd! 11) What are you forgetting? How am I to know? I don’t remember why I started this! 12) And lastly........if you purchased a Maybin jersey I appreciate your fandom, but that’s just one reason I’m not a jersey guy. Get there early, this might take some time! . Edited May 13, 2021 by Augie 1 2
