DCOrange
FWIW, Geoff Schwartz thinks Buffalo is the best fit from a scheme perspective. I would personally choose the Chiefs if I were him. Considering these things, I expect him to sign with Miami. 2 17

Any team can offer him the league minimum, and the Jets have to pay the difference up to his $6m guarantee with them. So it wouldn't cost us much to bring him in on a 1-year deal. Wouldn't that be delicious? The Jets paying him to play for us? Edited October 15, 2020 by CLTbills 6
bills6969
I think he’s going to sign with us then. Can’t see him going to KC where he would be 2nd fiddle. Dolphins need a RB but they aren’t a contender.

Blank Stare
I would love it as another weapon for Josh. Maybe get this running game going a bit to make us less one dimensional. The backfield would basically be all his, as Motor and Moss haven’t been world beaters to this point. With all that said, I’d be shocked if he doesn’t pick the Chiefs.
dma0034
He is going to have to put up some numbers if he wants a big contract next year. I think Buffalo is the only place that gives him that chance

TheFunPolice
Bills and Chiefs make sense... Miami make zero sense, especially since it's likely just a 1 year deal. He's getting paid from the Jets anyway, so $$ is pretty much taken care of. Since he's getting paid, you would think he would want to go where he has a chance to win this season. BigdaddyinOrlando
With us he will become feature back as soon as Jets game probably, w KC he will RB2. Most playing time is with Miami but no real chance to shine on center stage so to speak. I would welcome it

Mat68
With Allens ability to play from the spread, Buffalo could utilize Bell like his Pittsburgh days. He would catch 50 to 75 passes a year. Ironically, I think he would be a perfect addition to the offense.

I think KC would probably be best for him personally. Reid and Bieniemy do a great job of utilizing their RBs, especially in the passing game. Granted CEH is already very good in that aspect, but I think Bell's best chance of proving himself to be effective again would be in KC. Miami is his best bet if he simply wants playing time. Gaskins has been pretty good for them but they still don't seem all that committed to him. Kind of a crowded backfield though with Gaskins, Howard, and Breida, but there's a chance Bell proves himself to be the #1 guy there whereas I don't think that's all that likely with Buffalo and it's impossible with KC. Added bonus that Bell loves Miami as a city and I don't think the Dolphins are a laughing stock like the Jets for example. Buffalo offers somewhat of a balance between Miami and KC. Probably in the middle in terms of potential playing time for Bell, he could help fill the 3rd down role in the very least with potential for more carries than what KC would likely provide. One concern in my mind is that Bell's patient running style generally relies on getting very good run blocking; our OLine hasn't really provided that this year. I do think Geoff Schwartz (who certainly knows a lot more about OLines than I do) believes Buffalo's blocking schemes fit Bell better than the other two. Giuseppe Tognarelli
Take away the name and history, and do we really think Bell is better than Yeldon right now? By the way: Yeldon is 6'1", 223; Bell is 6'1, 225; both are dual-threat backs with pass-catching ability. I'm not convinced Bell is an upgrade. 3
