And with Milano and Edumonds out I could see Klein (who is a better run defender than a pass defender) being picked on in the short range game. Fitz did have some success passing last year too. I just wouldn't get too confident about this game, yes I expect the Bills to win even with Milano and Edumonds out but this isn't going to be an easy win especially with the two LB's out. If I had to predict the score I would say 31-21 Bills but the Bills are only up one score late. It just seems like one of those trap type games where the injuries to the LB corps can be exploited by the Fins in the passing game. Nah Fitz has never been good against top 10 defenses. This team is still easily top 10 without those two. Edited September 18, 2020 by TBBills

Special K
IMO, the Bills will score no less than 24 points vs Miami....and the Bills D, even minus their two LB’s, should have no trouble giving up less than 24 points to Miami’s sub-par O. Klein will play more traditional mike and they will play a lot of nickel with Siran in as a bigger guy rather than Taron. That is what I expect anyway. That’s what I would do but it doesn’t sound like it’s the plan. Sal made it sound more like Klein will be playing Milanos role. Which I absolutely would not be in favor of. I would let Klein play MLB and be the QB of the defense. He really can’t run. I don’t need him put in space getting exposed. I don't think he makes the pro bowl this year necessarily either but if he does he is a year ahead of schedule.
Process
LB is def #1 need after this year. Would love to see them draft a first round MLB and move tre outside. And let Milano walk. Need to improve depth also. Other than that a stud TE would be nice. Maybe #2 CB. And allen needs to keep progressing. It's amazing how few holes this team has. Big Blitz
We should be daring them to run anyway. 5 and 6 DBs all game. Make them beat you on the ground. If we were going up against a team like the Browns we'd be in trouble. Covering elite RBs is a problem for anyone let alone down 2 LBs. Down 2 starters or not please don't make Breida and Gaskin look like Chubb and Hunt.
Putin
It’s time for our offense to win some games for us , if we can’t go to Miami and DOMINATE a game like this just because both of our starting LB’s are out then maybe we are just not as good as we think we are , I have full confidence that this game will NOT be even close and will be out of reach by 4th Q GO Bills !!! 11 minutes ago, ProcessTruster said: OK offense, go score 35 and get out of there. MarlinTheMagician
Smart to not rush them. Long season for key players. Don't make what appears to be relatively minor injuries into chronic, nagging, season-long problems. Glad its the Fish. No guarantee we win, but it is the right decision to sit them if they are not 100% or darn close.

Greatdane21
It seems like every time the Bills leave themselves thin at a position ,they have multiple injuries . . throughout the league there are a lot of hamstring injuries so far . A result of no preseason games ? also we didn’t get a chance to evaluate anybody’s talent or the other 10 individuals we usually bring to training camp. This all makes it tougher to get replacements . Beane does a great job .

He ran between 4.45 and 4.51 in the 40-yard dash in 2013 coming out of Division II West Alabama, where he played mostly as a 215-pound defensive end. Now he's 229 pounds. They still take their million dollar salary. Good riddance. Who cares how tall you are, or how much you overachieve if you are bad on the field, loose and worst of all not even show up. So funny 👍🏻 But you could tell how Edmunds arm never locks and just bounces off without bending on the Jets TD last week something happened. Chandler#81
Fitz is an inspirational player and at his best on short crossing routes. We’re exposed here this week, in a big way. Cam threw for 155 last week and their LBs are anferee Jennings (rookie), jujuan Jennings, and Jets castoff Brandon Copeland and the game was never in doubt. I think McDermott can protect the LBs with scheme especially given everyone else on the D is healthy. On the offensive side, this Miami D can be attacked in the run game unlike the Jets. This is what I was thinking yesterday as well. The linebackers for the pats were a huge part of their defense last year. They lost their top 4 via free agency and opt outs. Plugged in some no names and just stifled the fins for 11 pts. I’m confident in Frazier, Mcd, and the pieces surrounding our LB’s.... also aren’t the fins down Roberts this week? Would that be enough to say an already bad run D just got even worse? Wasn’t he a thumper up in NE last year?
