Bruffalo
I'd jump on that in a heartbeat. Not only does he have knowledge of the Patriots playbook, arguably our biggest competition this season, he's a phenomenal player when healthy. Him opposite John Brown would be killer. 12
Rochesterfan
Does this mean they are expecting something from the NFL - another suspension? Seems strange with the timing that just as he is coming back they do this - not a week or so ago. Not sure I do anything until I am sure of the whole story. 8

As far as I know he kept his head down and didn't cause any problems there. Of course there's possibly something else to this story, I'm not sure why they're moving on. TheBrownBear
Very strange. Pats must view Sanu and/or Harry as better options than Gordon at this point. If not that, then there's hints of personal problems again. Either way, that doesn't make me very eager to see him in a Bills uniform.

Furthermore, I don't imagine he'd be insanely expensive to sign. With the WR trade market the way it is, he might be our best bet to improve the WR core, if that's something the Bills want to do. Magox
From what I've read he has become a more mature human. I hope they kick the tires on him if he does become available.

Orlando Tim
I think he is simply not available enough- but I do not fear him being a prima Donna now.
BILLSCRAZY3024
No thank you on Gordon. He has drug issues and is starting to get hurt a lot more now. Not worth the $$$ or draft pick. Pass on this off field problem. I wished Beane got off his beane bag and traded for Sanu when he was available. Now Patsies got him and the rich continues to get richer. UGH!

Yep, if he’s about to be cleared to play, why let him go? Something’s up here. I’ll add this to the long list of things I don’t get.
TheBrownBear
Actually, now that I read into the details, it looks like he was just the victim of a numbers game. It was basically him or Wynn and the Pats needed the OL help more than the receiver help with Harry coming off IR. Gordon isn't under contract next season and he's been chronically nicked up this year. I'd definitely kick the tires if I were the Bills.

billsfan89
He has looked out of shape in New England and far from the dynamic explosive player he was in Cleveland. I wouldn't hate kicking the tires on him but it isn't as good a move as it looks on paper.

artmalibu
Kick the tires if he becomes available. Plenty of cap space, but shouldnt cost much anyways. Offer a contract to finish this year only.

billsredneck1
i would jump as soon as he's let go. as a matter of fact, i'd have his agent on the phone. it's not gonna cost a pick or anything and he should be hungry. could be a perfect fit. it's only a matter of time before kroft gets hurt again. we can keep 7 and find a roster spot somewhere. this could be great! I really think he’d be just another mediocre guy in Buffalo.

Definitely possible, but we need a #3 guy to sit opposite John Brown. As much as I like Duke and hope he ends up being something special, I'd much rather have JG in that space.
