It is Wyatt Ray, if they cannot get the name right what else did they get wrong?

Yeah.  They might have really signed Perry Senorise to the active roster.  That might wake some people up.

Ray was a late round edge rusher I was interested in in the draft, so thats nice. Don't care too much about Perry... I like how Yeldon has done in spots so far (minus the fumble) so i'm fine not adding functional depth- as long as singletary is coming back soon.

I don’t feel like this bodes very well for the Singletary injury

This is what I was thinking too.  They've been rolling with just 2 guys assuming Singletary would come back into the fold.  If they're adding Perry now, it may be that Singletary just isn't progressing well and they want to shut him down for a few weeks so he doesn't re-injure himself and be out for the year.

It's probably to replace Zay on Special Teams.

They had Duke Williams taking Special Teams reps last week and during the game and he was fine. You could be right, but it may be more about Singletary than Zay's "Special Teams Prowess" lol

Less a move for our RB position and more of a move for special teams is my guess. We could use some help on special teams, so I'm not mad about this move.

Yeah - bates flexibility is beneficial to the line.  They also must feel good about nsekhe, morse, and ford being avialalbe in 2 weeks.

I want to live in a world where every one understands this is a special teams move and not a back-up running back move.

You have super low standards for what you want your world to look like. World peace? Cure hunger? Cure cancer? Nah, I want everyone to understand Senorise Perry is a special teams player.

Everyone once in a while you get owned so well you just have to give props.  This is it. Well done.

Yeah it is, he’s listed on the practice squad roster in the Bills official site.

For most journalists I send an email to them and I get thank you for correction but this is twitter and I am not a twit.

I was about to say that maybe what's more interesting than the moves themselves is that neither involves the O line, so they must be feeling good about guys getting back for Miami (that is, the second bye).  You beat me to it.

Am I just paying closer attention, or does Beane cycle players through the practice squad more than most?

I'm guessing it's about average?  I don't pay attention to other teams' practice squads at all, but from memory, we cycled through a lot of guys under Nix and (especially) Whaley as well.  Maybe we've just had 2 high-cycle guys in a row, or maybe that's just how the league is now.
