Comments From Fellow Bills Fans That Drives You Crazy

Recommended Posts

Frank Gore is too old, or some variation of it. I don't think there's any other running back in the league that can still pound in the 4th quarter like him. He's not human, so don't worry about it. The McClappy stuff is annoying too.

Not a comment, but I hate when Bills bars/gatherings play the Shout song after every single gd score regardless of what's going on the game. We're down 30 to New England and just kicked a field goal, there's no need for this.

About 99% of the time, referencing grammar when debating topics is a waste of time. They don’t learn whatever you’re attempting to teach, and you’re not really trying to be helpful. Why the passive-aggressive charade? Besides, if you understood enough of what was posted to disagree with it, the grammar was obviously sufficient. The 1% of the time it isn’t a waste of time if when the mistake is hilarious and takes over the thread.

The Fitz obsession after he left us to be another teams backup for less money still mystifies me. I’d be willing to bet there’s a Fitz specific thread every season since.

Replying “no” to a topic without any explanation used to irritate me. Now that I’m a father, I assume that it’s either a dad joke or pure nihilism. I also put “it’s only preseason” in the same category because not a substantive response. It’s like typing the time and date. We’re aware. Unless it’s followed by facts or, at least a theory, we have clocks and calendars for that.

1) Whose fault was it that they had a lame duck GM??

2) And yet almost every new regime starts with a new GM and new HC and they very often pick a QB first!...........and they don't always fire all of the scouts.    You don't seem to even know how the system works but you are insistent that I abide your perception of context.

RIP @The Big Cat

You're just a dikkkk, man.  Are you naturally this condescending to everyone or do you have to practice?

Anything about Mahomes.  As another poster said, it's the definition of "kicking a dead horse."  Of course, hindsight being 20/20 and all, it certainly would be awesome to have him.  But I think Miss Cleo isn't available anymore so it's still really hard to see the future.?

I think we got a pretty decent one on our hands as consolation.  If you really understand how much difference there is between Mahomes' path to the NFL and Allen's, you should completely understand why, seeing how good he is already, and how much he's improved already,  we should genuinely be really excited. So they didn't get Mahomes.  The timing was a big part of that since Beane and his guys weren't even here yet.

I love that they were willing to take a big gamble with potentially a really, really big payoff with JA.  McD and Beane (and the Pegulas of course) really understand what it means to be a Bills fan and what a championship(s) will mean to Buffalo as a city and region.  They really feel our pain.  They might as well have been here in the early 90's.  They're taking a very calculated risk because they believe it will pay off big time.  We deserve a big time payoff.  So let's just move on already.

The Mahomes ***** is tiring.

Expect it to be tiring for the next decade+ if Allen doesn't become a star.

There's some things that can be forgiven, but if Mahomes goes on to become a Hall of Famer and/or Super Bowl winner while Allen either becomes a Tannehill/Dalton/Keenum level talent or bombs out, Bills fan will always remember we passed on him in an era where we went 17 years without making the playoffs.

Yes, it's tiring, but if you're confident Allen is a franchise guy, you won't have to worry about the Mahomes talk for much longer.

"Trap Game."

"Need to run the ball more"

"Need to pass the ball more"

"Activate Duke Williams b.c I saw him catch a pass in practice."

"Anything that has the word Patriots in it "

Actually that will end when Beane and McDermott get fired b.c it was those guys faults.

If Allen doesn't pan out, yeah, they'll definitely get fired.

But as long as Allen at least plays better than what we had with Tyrod Taylor, I think they'll stick around for a long while.... Even if Mahomes is annihilating records & winning Super Bowls left  & right.

I’ve always equated the ‘Flutie vs. Johnson’ arguments to ‘Quisp vs. Quake’.  If you have to ask, don’t bother.  ?

I had to google it...

Quote

While the two cereals were virtually identical in flavor (Quake was said to be slightly crunchier), Quisp proved to have much more consumer appeal and traditionally beat Quake in sales. Quaker placed the blame on Quake the character.

Every team in the league passed on him. Anyone could have taken him before 10 or traded up for him. I'm sure that won't stop you from whining for the next decade but that's the reality. You know who it really hurts for is Bears fans. They traded up a spot to take Trubisky. If any team is asking what if, it's them.

almost any rookie QB would have been great walking into a top team like the Chiefs

Um  . . . yeah.  Agreed.  Well put.

What bothers me is the negativity and anger some people put into their reactions.  Example:  a few weeks ago just for fun I posted a joke question about what to do with a cursed Bills jersey (they always lose when I wear it).  One response told me to burn the shirt (ok . . .) with myself in it (?!).  Huh?  Where did that come from?  Did I pee in your corn flakes that morning?

If you can't enjoy your visit here or join in a joke, then don't come.  If you don't want to read a post or a line of discussion, then don't read it.  It's not complicated.

Because in real life, that person likely does not say what the say in the web, because they would shunned, or get their azs kicked. By and large there is no fear of retribution on the web.
