Ethan in Cleveland
He has three plays that are in highlight reels. Only one of which is a completed pass. Yes he chased down Lett but does that make him a legend? He bounced his head off the ground in what should have been ruled an interception not an incomplete pass. And yes he caught a TD in the comeback game. That is not a legendary career. Not even close.

Happy
Did they retire his number or is his name on the wall of fame? No? He's not a legend. Just a role player.

gobills1212
Ask the dude who knows more than Chris Brown. Im sure hed be happy to tell ya!! Just a guy people recall fondly from the SB era. Never screwed anything up, and is the poster child for hustle while chasing down Lett. Legend is a bit much, but Topps has a series they call HOMETOWN HEROES that features the guys who were more role players than the superstars - which Bebee has been in and that, Id say, fits him to a T. 2

Bad Things
C'mon now... Beebe is more than a "role player". "Legend" may be too great of a term, but Beebe was a big part of the offense. White lightning! 6

The legend of David Tyree certainly is alive and well While he was no where close to a legendary player he is a legend because of that catch and SB victory 2

Outside of buffalo and the lett family, I’d venture not terribly well known. that play was likely legendary even if he’s not though

By definition, Tyree is a legend. We all know his name, and instantly think of that miraculous catch in the Super Bowl. Well known...that's "legend". So to call Beebe a Bills legend isn't really all that crazy really. We all know who he is, and of course he's sononomous with the Lett play.

I'm sure Beebe was exaggerating a bit, but he said it's something people bring up every day and he still receives fan mail regarding that play. Mostly Bills fans, I'm sure, if not all. Ga boy
Can't buy into the legend thang. I saw him run down by a legend: Deion Sanders. Sitting in the endzone in Atlanta. Beebe is racing down left sideline with nobody within 10 yards. Then all of sudden, Sanders appears from the right on an angle, and tackles him on the 5. It must be geometry cause it looked like a sure touchdown. It was geometry or Deion was just faster??? I'd love to see that video. Does anyone have their 40 times?? SlimShady'sSpaceForce
How old are you? that may be why you are asking Don Beebe became an important part of the team (legend) nearly 20 years ago (do I need to state the obvious) Beebe, Tasker, Lofton, Davis, all legends IMO.

I listened to the piece and Tasker was mentioning how he was a high school football coach, now a coach for Aurora University. I have no idea where is Aurora, but glad he was on our team during those years just in that he wasn’t a quitter. It was cool I believe he tied or close to Brady in he attended 6 SB, and has one ring. Golden*Wheels
Every sports fan i know, Bills or not, remembers him stripping Lett in the Superbowl. But if you said "Biscuit" or "K-Gun" to them, they'd likely have no freakin' clue what you were talking about. Legends are all relative I guess.
