Tyreek Hill Battery & Child abuse thread

The team has to be careful here because they cut Hunt for what really accounts to a fight with someone who was actively involved in the fight... If this is true (that he is beating his children) they really don't have anything to do but cut him...

yup,  back during the Kareem Hunt situation I said KC was being hypocritical since they didn't seem to mind such things with Tyreek Hill's known abuse of a pregnant woman.

(KC) set a precedent with Hunt and are in a sticky situation now.

As with any claim, he deserves due process, but his history, and a three year old with a broken arm don't look good.

Character counts.

They are/were right on the cusp of giving him the biggest WR contract in history

I know. Also what bad timing with announcement of Hunt's suspension of 8 games the same day.

Like I said, he probably would have been charged already if there was anything to this. It doesn’t take days to investigate something like this. Either there are elements of the crime or not.

There is no standard time-line for an investigation to be concluded or charges to be filed. Each case is different.

What is wrong with this world? I wonder if “the good guys” get pissed at fools like this. It makes them all look bad to some degree. How do you work with trash like that?  It would be hard for me to just look the other way. Not just him, but for far too many... How does a “Kyle type of guy” play next to that?

If he did this he needs to be done for good. I’ll reserve judgment until it’s over but I’ve got no sympathy for anyone who hurts a child.

I'll be happy to pass judgement now.  He already has a conviction of beating his pregnant wife.  Thats enough for me to judge and should be for any human being.  If the new allegations are true this dude needs to be done with the NFL.

Correct, and complaint was only filed yesterday, that is not 'days', and even a scumbag deserves due process.

If true the league needs to come down hard on this guy.  Bye bye.  Everytime I watched him play this year his beating his pregnate wife is all I could think of.  How was the League ok with him playing.  Great role model for kids.

Because it took place in college before he was drafted. The league office can't punish him for something he did before he was in the NFL.

Not defending him, I'm just answering your question.

I had no idea this guy was such a slimeball, choking, strangling, his pregnant girlfriend when she was eight weeks pregnant a few years ago. And now more!

I had been in favor, somewhat, of the Bills making a play for their cut slimeball running back after he beat his girlfriend, as the Bills are in a desperate need of a young, highly skilled running back.  But reading this it makes me regret my stance.

I am glad the new Bills avoid this kind of scum of the earth, that the Chiefs seemed to have gobbled up in their desperate attempt to improve.

Makes me proud to be a Bills fan, knowing that this organization won't do that.

Who wants to win like that? On the shoulders of scumbags?

Wow. That was a fast release. Chiefs must be confident of the facts. These types always seem to be repeat offenders. When you draft physical abusers, it’s a time bomb.

Update: while it is fake news at this time, if true, they will have to release him. Physical abusers are a red flag that you don’t draft.

Chiefs didn't release him, it's fake news. But hey it's on Zitter so it must be true.

Yeah I didn't look close enough at first either.  It wouldn't shock me to see him be released though.

Schopp and 60% of this board will tell us that character doesn’t matter. Marijuana, speeding or acting like a diva, I agree. When it comes to little kids or ladies, I say you’re wrong. If this is true, why would they even draft this piece of chit?

When did you do a poll on this?

Let him not be tried in press.  A relative was arrested for beating a child due to call to child services; child was unconscious in hospital.  It ends up the kid got hurt by bullies at school and nothing due to father.  The call was by his uncle on mother's side who was trying to help his sister get more alimony.

If th e report is true, his son has a broken arm.  Now, that doesn’t MEAN, that Hill caused it, but given that he choked his girlfriend when she was pregnant- note that he pled guilty to that - it certainly SUGGESTS that he likely had a hand in it.

Seems to be a common theme for Chiefs players. What an idiot. It’s like the guys that can’t stop smoking weed for millions of dollars. This guy can’t stop beating his family. Such idiots. ***** person who would be no where in life if he couldn’t run fast.

They're too dumb to get out of their own way. One less toy for mohawk....
