Pure speculation,

But I wonder if McBean planned on landing morse from the get go (chiefs bills connection).  Then just proceeded to engage their division rival in a fabricated bidding war.  A fiscal troll job of sorts.

That wouldn’t surprise me at all !!!

I doubt it.  If they did then i believe Paradis was target #1 cause he would of risked that chance of his agent saying you got a deal.

I imagine that doesn't happen.  What if the free agent agrees to an offer, what do you say?  Just kidding, we had no real intention of signing you, we were only trolling the Jets.

Personally I think the baby needs to fend for him/herself on days like this

So what ??? Because his agent says you got a deal does that mean ( what exactly?) McBean can’t change his mind ?

I said, "If he can stay healthy he's a significant upgrade."

Someone responded that he didn't miss a game last year and I corrected them.

If that's an issue for you....<shrug>

Some people want to believe that 5 time All Pro's heading into their sixth season are lining up to sign with Buffalo and will not field any other offers.  That they will sign for little over the vet minimum as well.  That they have no health concerns and can play until age 50 to boot.

Kansas City Chiefs’ Mitch Morse is a high-floor pass blocker but lacks high-end run-blocking ability. He’s earned 70.0-plus pass-blocking grades all four years of his career but has failed to finish above 70.0 in run-blocking grade in any of the four years.

Morse’s lackluster run blocking will push teams away, but any team in search of a pass-protecting center with years of high-floor production should jump at the opportunity to sign him.

Chiefs fans seem to have loved him and are warning us of his concussion history; like Kroft and KJ, this could pay big dividends if he stays on the field. Relieved by this signing big time!

Chiefs Center Mitch Morse has selected the Brain Injury Association of Kansas and Greater Kansas City (BIAKS) as the charity he supports. Mitch served as the BIAKS honorary Walk for Thought Chair for the 2018 Going the Distance for Brain Injury Memorial Day Run. His understanding of traumatic brain injury stems from living with his younger brother who suffered a TBI as a baby when the babysitter violently shook him

Better yet Bean and agent are in cahoots to shake down the Jets.  Seems the NYC market inadvertently puts pressure on the team to spend and outbid.
