He was the guy John Butler drafted instead of Tom Brady back in 2000 because he could wrestle polar bears or something. Jasper was a 2011 Nix guy. dgrochester55 Posted January 26, 2019 Share Posted January 26, 2019 Congrats to him. I am always glad to see former Bills doing well. He was a preseason hero a few years back. Nothing wrong with him, just raw size and talent that didn't translate to an NFL career. Very common at that point of the draft. I don't think that Buffalo took a bad risk by using a 7th rounder on him, but for every Jason Peters and Robert Foster that you get in 7th rd or UDFA, you get ten scenarios like Jasper.
