Some teams in the Bills' position wouldn't budge after feeling a player turned his back on them, but Buffalo quickly allowed Incognito to move on and begin engaging other teams. Although he's a short-term fix going on age 35, Incognito is plenty capable of helping a team at guard. The Ravens with ex-Bills OC Greg Roman make sense. With Boldin, if he wanted to "unretire" we WANTED him With Incognito, they were like, oh here ya go, deuces.... Since I think he's about 3 peas short of a casserole, I could then see him flipping out, firing his agents who led him down this path, "retiring" etcetera. Given Shady's reaction the first time, I cannot imagine he is happy at all about this. Why are we biting off our nose to spite our face. McBeane should have done the same thing they did with Boldin. Either Richie players for the Bills or he does not play at all (unless they could get reasonable compensation). This was not managed well. P.S. Richie is not innocent either but there had to be some middle ground after he realized that he was giving up too much. Just my two cents. But, he's a 35 year old guy who was all over the place enotionally just a month ago.
