That’s kind of an odd ball spot. Maybe Rome Odunze slips that far?

This draft is huge in establishing a good solid core on both sides. Since there are a few teams with more than one pick in rds. 2 and 3, I can see him selling next years 1st to create another 2nd and 3rd. Latu/Murphy 28 Sweat 41 Burton 60 Walker 88 Smith 128 I may not agree at holding onto 28. But i do agree about creating another second and third. and i like pick at

I'm thinking more of trading a 1st in 2025 to get into the 2nd round of this draft. Imagine getting Sweat, a #1 WR, and another staring position of need (C/G, S, DE) now. We know we need those roles for the future and this draft has them in abundance. 3 1
Toyo321
Why do we keep signing players coming off knee injuries. Really is that what this team has been reduced too?? What a waste of money on a guy that tanked in 2023 because of a knee injury in 2022, when he injured his MCL and fractured his knee. I don't understand Beane thoughts on this, and his play last year was way below average too with LAC. Whatever..... This is typical of Beane. 1 1 3
Ethan in Cleveland
I like every move Beane has made wxcept bringing back Epenesa. Even with all that, I still go WR, Edge, Safety top 3 picks. Then a Punter in round 5.

Eastport bills
Bills defense will be better than last year because Milano is such a huge factor and Bernard should be better in his 2nd year starting. Hyde and Poyer were great Bills but their best years are behind them. We need youth at safety and Douglas will be better than any corner we had in 3 years and he’ll be here a full season. If Miller can give us improved play, which shouldn’t be unrealistic because he stunk last year, the DL should be better. Better pressure, better run defense with a healthy DQ, Milano and improved depth with Johnson, and a better secondary with Edward’s, Douglas and a round 1 or 2 safety or corner.

Beane has done a fine job outside of his safety situation. I would’ve waited on signing Rapp and Edwards. After the draft and all your needs are filled outside of starting safety there are going to be bargain starting safeties still available. I’m not a huge Samuel fan either because I’ve seen what he is but if Brady wanted him and can use him right that’s fine. Still need a #1 WR for Josh in this draft

If he continues to lock up positions of “need” with some of these moves he’s making, I could see him using a 1st next year along with any other ammo he has to move up into the 10-15 range and make a move for MHJ, Nabors, or Odunze, whoever falls to that range. It’ll depend on how the draft plays out but I think this is more of a possibility than trading next years 1st for multiple 2-4th rounders this year.
