Ravens WR Zay Flowers being investigated for domestic violence by Baltimore police

You realize Ray Rice is a RB and Zay Flowers is a WR they just picked in the first round?

That makes a huge difference here.

That's the reality. I promise you he is not being "instantly cut" when he hasn't even been charged with a crime.

Not smart. First, a man should not put his hands on a woman. Second, sometimes you just have to walk away and leave them where they stand, regardless of what they are saying or doing. Whether it be your house, in a restaurant, in a club, wherever. ESPECIALLY if you are a young, rich athlete. It's just not worth it.

He wants to follow in Tyreek Hill's footsteps

Those are very difficult to catch up to!

EDIT: As always, I’d like to remind that it might be a good idea to get the facts before passing judgment.

If the crime is caught on video.. he’s gone.. if it’s not then he’s going nowhere, excellent young talent.

In other words, if there is absolutely any way the team can get away with retaining him without public outrage, they will.

Agreed.

I'm shocked that the guy who just handed the Chiefs the AFCC Game with two of the most boneheaded plays in recent memory--including the most blatant taunting penalty I've ever seen--doesn't have his s**t together off the field, either...

Should be noted that after the Ray Rice/elevator incident a few years ago that the Ravens team has a NO TOLERANCE policy regarding DV cases and Flowers could be instantly cut.

Didn’t the Ravens invite Ray Rice bavk to game this year like the Bills do with their old legends?

This is exactly why there should be no off season

The boys can not be trusted

Well, there are thousands of players who DIDN'T do anything wrong. No reason to punish everyone for the actions of the handful who do stupid things in the offseason. Just punish those few.

No, that was Ray Lewis. He only killed a guy

They did. It actually happened.

The Baltimore Ravens are making a terrible mistake honoring Ray Rice. He's no 'legend'

When discussing what is the utterly disastrous and staggeringly tone-deaf decision the Ravens made in honoring Ray Rice on Sunday as a “Legend of the Game,” a Ravens tradition that recognizes a former player for his accomplishments on and off the field, we need to go back in time. We need to go a dimly lit elevator at an Atlantic City hotel. We need to go to a moment that was so brutal it became one of the biggest stories in the country and was even addressed by the President of the United States.
