Now that they don’t have Philips, Chubb and Howard, one would think that we should easily score 40+ points on them again. It’s so important to be able to stop their ground game and string out those outside zones/tosses and let our LBs play from depth. The second they get caught creeping to try and get an inch of advantage in run support, we open passing windows. Im pretty confident we’ll see a variation of cloud coverage toward Hill when possible, and we won’t play too much pure man. Daquan is back and looked really good for missing as much time as he did, but Milano is huge in games like these. I’d think the bills would be pretty motivated too if a loss eliminated them and Miami would be far less motivated with a banged up team that already clinched what if the Miami team that played Baltimore shows up? 😂. I don’t think McDermott has any trouble scheming against tua. Last year I thought the Dolphins out-coached the Bills in their two losses and I expected a tougher matchup this week and was happy that didn't happen. That game looked bad in the box score but we were a few inches on a couple deep throws away from a 500 passing yard 6+ TD type game I think our oline is much better than last year and they are down two huge pass rushing pieces and Xavien Howard as well so they really don’t have any hope of emulating that defensive gameplan…if they were gonna have Ramsey and a healthy Xavien Howard maybe I’d be a little more nervous but we’re almost definitely gonna see Eli Apple on the defensive side I think we’re better equipped to deal with their speed than most defenses…maybe if both teams were 100% healthy it would be closer but I don’t see a lot of ways Miami wins this one. It's like the Bills down Rousseau, Floyd, Douglas, Morse, Torrence, and Davis (😇), with Diggs banged up. As for their speed, a disciplined zone can handle that. Still, I'd like to see Elam out there. If the Bills are going to make a deep run, they need to click on all cylinders. That means Diggs returning to form, Brady showing something new, Elam emerging (ideally), and Cook, Kincaid, Douglas, Oliver, and other top performers keeping up their excellent play. The Bills defense, when playing the way it wants to, is about limiting big plays with zone coverage while getting pressure with 4 rushers. Their O-line is in bad shape with injuries and if Waddle is still out the Bills don't need to worry about Waddle taking the top off the defense while we try to contain Hill. My biggest worry is about the offense. What the heck is going on? The Chargers game I could chalk up to flukey turnovers, but Josh was just bad vs the Pats. I am just hoping that was his one bad game for a month and he turns it back on soon. I will be eyeing the Dolphins injury report with great interest. If they give it away like they did at the Chargers, it's a 99% loss. Otherwise, I agree the Bills are healthier especially on D and playing well.
