He shouldn't have kept playing on it against the Titans that was obvious in the game despite the plays he made when he went back in. The way he kept holding himself back out wasn't good. I absolutely wouldn't be shocked if they didn't shoot him up and have him out there though, which could backfire tremendously.
mannc
It might actually be better for us if Hill plays. He won’t be 100% and the injury will continue to nag him. I’d guess they’ll sit him, to get him healthy for the harder games ahead. 4
VaMilBill
Ehh. I think he’ll play. He knows what’s on the line for him and the team knows what’s in the line in terms of playoffs. let’s not forget that McDaniel played Tua after his obvious concussion last year. 4 4

The weather in Miami at kickoff is calling for heavy rain and 30 MPH winds. Slipping around on a wet field won't help. If this turns into a muck it up type of game that favors the Jets with their defense. Plus, the Dolphins speed gets minimized on a slippery field. 2 2

We just gotta keep winning at this point. 2 1 1

Would really like if we’ve at least clinched a playoff berth, but those chances are probably very low if impossible.

Nineforty
I've been watching Hill a little more closely than usual the past few weeks as I had been betting his receiving yards prop bet each of the last few weeks. He has been banged up during a few of the games I've watched even before the Titans game and the difference between the Miami offense with or without him is so great. I can't think of another team that looks so different with one (non-QB) player out. Maybe CMC in SF. I'd have more faith in a SF team to figure things out without CMC than I would with Miami without Hill.

Gregg
The X factor here is Wilson. Can he repeat what he did in the 2nd half last week or will he go back to playing horribly. If he can play like the 2nd half of from last week then an upset is a very real possibility. Edited December 15, 2023 by Gregg
HereComesTheReignAgain
Hope he plays and ends up making it much worse. (He is one of a very few players I don’t feel bad about seeing injured. It would simply be karma for his disgusting past) 1 3

I agree with this because he's determined to break the all time record and it could lead to turnovers with Tua forcing the ball his way. This is a massive game for Miami and if they lose it could cost them dearly in terms of keeping hold on the division lead. gonzo1105
Miami is going to have to run the ball to be successful in this one. If Hill doesn't play, that secondary is going to bog down that Miami passing attack. With 3 OL out as well the Running game is going to struggle. The question is can Zach Wilson put enough together to put say 20 points on the board to win this game.
Warriorspikes51
The Jets are actually still alive as they can get to 9-8. If Wilson can just play OK, they have a chance to win in Miami

DCofNC
I’d bet on him playing. The real question for the Jets, can they get the Wilson from the 2nd half of last weeks game? If so, they will be tough to beat.

They essentially have a 1 game lead over us because we do play them week 18.... and they have a gauntlet of a schedule, which we are just now exiting... and theyre heading into the most critically banged up. sure "Dolphins could literally take the next three games off, and still win the division by just beating us" is technically true if we were to also lose out.... but why make this point lol youre essentially just saying they have a lead you ever turn on start of 4th Q NBA.... the Heat are beating Clippers by 1pt.... "THE HEAT COULD TAKE THIS ENTIRE QUARTER OF, MISS EVERY BASKET, AND STILL BEAT THE CLIPPERS" .......well sure, if both teams forfeit the quarter, thatd happen Dolphins have no choice but to push that putrid lil s*** #10 out there.... this might be the last game this year they arent underdogs in. If i were them id be pushing him to grind through this game, with the promise of vet rest and maybe sitting out following week vs DAL

I’d be a little surprised if Hill doesn’t play this weekend, all things considered, but if there were a game for the Dolphins to let him heal, this would be it. Agree that to win the division or take the #1 seed, they need to beat both the Ravens and us. If they lose to the Jets, the Ravens still have to beat the Jags and 49ers too, so the Dolphins would have a chance to still catch them.
