The stuff that my daughter watches gives me headaches and makes me want to vomit as they act surprised when they flip a bottle and it lands standing up.

Yeah I get that; my son sometimes makes what I consider pretty bizarre viewing choices, but I make a distinction between watching something for entertainment and actually being influenced by it.

I mean, I enjoyed "Breaking Bad", but I don't play footsie with the Cartel.

I'm with you, trust me.  I'd rather my kids do something else but that usually ends up being them fighting one another (though thinking back I think that was a better option between my siblings and I) than becoming brain dead to someone playing with slime for 4 hours straight.

All I can say is thank heavens Spring Football has started. Now my kid is spending most of his down time with his head in the playbook.

Lots of famous people have siblings or other family members who are continual embarrassments, including presidents of the US while in office (ie, Jimmy Carter had brother Billy and Bill Clinton had Roger).  Actually, many not-so-famous people have embarrassing relatives, but they don't make headlines or social media because nobody cares.

He sucks and all, but I don’t see how he’s done anything that warrants jail time.  It seems hard to imagine, but sometimes being born into fame and fortune is the opposite of a blessing.

It's not ok to grab women by the neck and forcibly kiss them. If someone tried that on my wife or family member, jail would be the appropriate place for them.

Very true. One of the people I respect most was a captain at the county jail I worked at. Unfortunately, his family wasn't so great, with the worst being a brother that got arrested several times while we were on shift. It was quite embarrassing for him, but we knew they were nothing alike.

One had a 25 year career in law enforcement, the other was constantly doing/dealing drugs, driving under the influence, and getting arrested for theft... still doing all this at age 60.

You think $20k is enough for the brother of a Mega Super Star QB?

She would get like $3,000 after Lawyer fees.

Why should Patrick pay for his dumbass brother. He might if they are close, but this isn't his problem. I doubt the brother can pay 20k on his own.

I'm not a fan of the violent implications but I understand the urge.   Grabbing someone by the neck and forcibly kissing them is unacceptable.  If someone did that to my wife or daughter, I'd hope for something more from the authorities than a slap on the wrist.  Jail time is appropriate.

Edited my comment, perhaps a bit intense, thanks for the feedback

Jackson Mahomes is worth millions himself because he has a million followers.  He can afford the $20,000 easily.

She would sue for significantly more than $20,000.

Sucks for Patrick Mahomes to have a little ***** brother. Hope Jackson Mahomes can grow up someday. An awful situation for the restaurant owner to be in. Completely undeserved and I hope she gets restitution to make her feel whole.

So what does this mean for the Chiefs? Can this controversy please equate to 1 loss for the Chiefs in the regular season? Maybe 1 decision making hiccup for Patrick versus the Bills?

He should be jailed for assault.  And with any luck his bunk mate makes a new friend of him.  Maybe he will learn to be less of a disgusting waste of humanity, and get a real experience of what unwanted touching is like.

and it should be closer to $200k not 20

I know this person is trying to funny but that is super corny. I love my brother but I’m not responsible for what a grown man does.

If you're financially supporting them while they do those things.. then you are kinda responsible.

Hes a successful influencer.

Does anyone here actually follow an influecer.....  I honestly don't understand and surely cannot conceive the whole influencer BS. If someone tells me they're an influencer I'd probably make an effort to do the opposite

Good influencers will influence you without you even knowing.

I just follow Rachel Bush on Twitter. Lots of deep thoughts there.

Yes he is partially responsible... it's called enabling bad behavior. He's not his father... he needs to stop enabling him.

There's definitely an element of enabling in there.

Anytime I think of situations like this, the very first question that comes to mind is what they would be doing if they didn't have the publicity that they have from whatever they have it from.  Take this dcikhead, I mean what would he be doing otherwise in life w/o Mahomes being a superstar.  I can't imagine much.
