Losing to the Colts, Saints and Bucs in losses where the team looked confused, unready or tired is hard to understand. McD isnt one of those old school "win one for the gipper" speech coaches. Its as if he relies on others to focus the team or just lets the players do it themselves. Both the OL and DL were underwhelming and got overwhelmed far too often. His D can work with pressure but it hasn’t materialized, which is Beane’s fault. So you’re now forced to find a D scheme that can work with the players we have rather than getting the best DC and trying to force our pieces to work in their scheme.
