We did not resign Davis Webb to a futures deal. Webb has played for the Giants before and is well liked as a smart player in the film room. Perhaps they snag him to help teach Jones...who both Schoen and Mara gave a HUGE vote of support for. Took him damn 2 years to finally get Motor involved in the offense. Took him damn near a full season and half to realize how good Gabe Davis was.
