Lol KC with all these low character players, do they put any emphasis on anything other than 40 times ?

Whatever it is they put emphasis on seems to be working pretty well from where I'm sitting.

Can’t argue with the on field results, and if the only way to be successful was to draft players with spotty decision making skills and character issues, I’d be understanding of every team drafting in this manner.  I’m happy that’s not the case and more importantly happy that McDermott believes character matters.

What an overall cesspool and collection of dirtbags and carnival employees in KC. Absolutely disgusting how even the fans defend their teams behavior. Only New England & KC would even entertain this guy playing this weekend. Hill, Hunt, Andy JR, Gay. I’m sure I’m missing some too what a absolute black eye to the NFL

Chiefs just signed Damon Arnette a corner who the raiders cut earlier this year because of gun charges. Guessing he’ll room with Jones their DT also with a gun charge arrest this year. They make the mean machine look tame 😳

Wrong guy.  DE Frank Clark. Chris Jones only has one prior charge and it’s not for guns.  He was acquitted for rape.  His rape victim, Jon Feliciano, said it was consensual

1.  We all wish everyone on the team we root for was a fine upstanding pilar of the community.  They aren't.  Alot of these guys aren't good people.

The Chiefs have some bad dudes...the Chiefs give alot of 2nd chances, 3rd chances etc.  Some of those are deserved, others not so much.  ....instead of trying to judge who is worthy of that or not...I just default to the justice system.  If some crappy person is legally free to play football for my team and can help them win....fine, whatever...go play hard and win, and try not to be a jackwagon going forward.

The Bills aren't immune from this.

You still have Tyrel Dodson on your team.  He's not a even a starter but he plays....surely he's not on the roster because he's a high character guy based on his recent history.

I didn't see anyone here demanding the Bills release Ed Oliver when he got arrested....I understand he was later absolved.....Gay hasn't had his day in court....from the police report sounds like he got pissed off and broke a vacuum.  Somehow I don't foresee a long prison sentence coming for that.

You are right...he got his day in court and he was proven innocent.

Before that did anyone call for his release?  Did anyone give up being a Bills fan becasue of this arrest?

Did people appeal to let Oliver go through the system?

I'm not here to tell you Willie Gay is a great guy.  I am saying he smashed a vacuum and has a court date.  I hope he plays well Sunday.

Everyone in KC is saying he "just" broke a vaccum, and ignoring that the police report says he smashed walls in an argument while his child and the child's mother were in the house.

How long before the restraining order is issued? Or is the judge waiting until after the playoffs?

Tyrel Dodson is playing for your team:

The woman told officers that Dodson was intoxicated at her apartment when he shoved her against a wall and slapped her face. The woman, who also told police that she had slapped Dodson in the face as well, told Dodson to leave her apartment and locked herself in a bathroom before Dodson forced the door open, hitting her in the head with the door, according to the police report.

No one here is demanding he be released or protesting the Bills because this guy is a Bill.

Nobody cared if he was on the team when that happened he was an undrafted free agent.

and this was the Bills and the NFLs response.

Hey, I tend to agree with your statements regarding this arrest. Honestly I'm not even sure why this has so many pages of replies. If it was Mahomes, ok, but seriously at this point, does anyone really think that has any effect on the outcome of the game?

Is someone implying that any chiefs fan should give up being a chiefs fan?

I’m am here to tell you that your team has unusually low standards with regards to character.  That’s all. man know GIF

The undrafted free agent who sat out his first year and was suspended for the first 6 games of the next season?

Yeah, he was suspended for 6 games before he ever saw the field.

Not that I'm staying Gay should be suspended, just that you look like a really piece of work defending him and lying about what he did.

Extremely weak comparison. It’s like 15 guys on the chiefs to 1 for the Bills. Sad you would rationalize that the chiefs are all about giving second chances. Call it like it is. You have a team of dirtbags. Your coach is poor at discipline. Both professionally and personally. Your team is like a bunch of jackal’s raping and pillaging society. And you rationalize their decisions as everyone does it

Zerovoltz just give it a rest. Don’t come on a Bills forum complaining that Bills fans are trashing a Chiefs player. You’re within your rights to gloat IF you beat us Sunday, however coming on TBD to polish a turd is unbecoming.  That being said I’m deep into Southern Tier IPA 🤷

Tell the truth, did you post on everyone's forums back in the Alex Smith days? Didn't think so.

Has anyone heard from Jimmy Spags?! At least he was a jolly ole’ troll

There aren't many teams that are immune to this sort of thing. I could go up and down the list of NFL teams who have had a cluster of player arrests in a given span of time over the last 20 years, including the Bills. In a span of roughly three years, Whitner, Hargrove, Parrish, Lynch, Simpson, Lynch (again) and Whitner (again) were all arrested in the late 2000s.

More recently, Ed Oliver (2020), Tyrel Dodson (2019), Zay Jones (2018), Adolphus Washington (2017), Jonathan Williams (2016) were arrested.

Overall, there have been 23 Bills player arrests since 2000.

Mike Vrabel, in his one year in KC, was arrested for stealing alcohol from a casino deli.

There has been an average of more than 50 NFL arrests every year since 2000, and every team in the league has had 20+ arrests in that span aside from Detroit (19) and Houston (16) — and Houston didn't enter the league until 2022.

Huh?? Houston entered the league next year?  They've been in the league alot longer than that.  Yea they entered the league 2002, not some time in the future that isn't here yet.
