Message to everyone involved in Gugny's discussion here:

It's OK to disagree and to not share opinions with other people on a particular topic.

What makes you suggest it was overblown?  You didn't even see it.   Maybe.  Maybe not.

Your projecting your own take on the story to conform with what you would prefer to believe.

Which is natural and normal psychology--but be aware that's what you're doing.

It honestly doesn't make sense and why is there no video of it??

I'll have to re-watch it and isolate the play but it was a failed 3rd down pass in the center of the field,  going into the wind, and well into Jets territory.    The near event on the sideline probably happened around the 35 yard line.

Do you get a chance to figure out which play and which quarter it is? Since the only 3rd down imcompletion to Beasley in play-by-play is at Bills' 22, it's confusing which play you refer to.

Lighten up.

It's not just bringing up, did someone see such and such.  It can be and has been portrayed by many already as an attack on Beas or putting him at fault for "supposed" altercation.

This day and age, once info gets out there. it's like gospel to people.  Just trying to point out that I did not witness it...did you? Or you just believing this happened because you have a beef with Beas and want it to be true?

Perhaps OP mistakenly saw what he thought he saw, or the altercation was a nothing burger..again, take it for what you will.

Is this your way of saying you plan to call corporate?

Because they may question where you put the goal posts.

Again, someone says something you don't like and you respond with accusing others of having personal beef....very predictable.

Really....

OP seems like the Karen act.. let me report something unsubstantiated/see what everyone reactions will be.

Sorry to ask for confirmation.  Next time I will just follow along and not question/mention anything that I see.

The OP is prickly but has certainly been one of the most knowledgeable posters on this board for a couple of decades. He's not going to make stuff up.

Was going to say the same thing! If someone would have made note of it, it would be Sal. He’s on the sideline every game

You don't like I questioned the OP, so sorry to hurt your feelings? You plan to keep this charade of Karen sarcasm, so predictable...

True or not it sure feels like Beasley has pretty much fallen off a cliff in production.  Yesterday it looked like he barely got any separation and just was kind of blah the whole game.

Just like John Brown last season, I don't see the Bills paying this guy next year (and I expect people to tell me I'm crazy again). There are quite a few FA who I think can step in and at least give us what he got this season.

Very emotional post my friend.  I'm doing great today, I'm questioning why you're coming after me when I'm just mentioning what i saw...Go Bills. enjoy your day

He was the only unvaxxed player (and we have plenty of them) to cry on social media and make a spectacle of himself and the team. None of our other unvaxxed guys broke the team code and popped off like that. And therefore, none of our other unvaxxed players get the hate Beasley does. Because it isnt about being vaxxed or not. It's about keeping it within the team or not. He was the only one who couldnt manage to do it.

But I know this wont stop you from trying to be his white knight, so keep on acting oppressed and offended.

He’s also their only unvaccinated player who refused to simply follow the exact same COVID protocols as last year, as his 100k plus in fines indicates. Not a big ask and the other unvaccinated players had no trouble adhering to those protocols. Beasley chose to play the persecuted diva. I suspect he’s been a pain in the ass for the coaches, trainers, and other staff the entire season as a result. I wonder how many meetings he was asked to leave because he couldn’t deign to simply wear a friggen mask.

I got back late last night so didn't see game thread or re-watch the game so not sure if it was discussed......

But after a 3rd down pass to Beasley went incomplete he ran off the field screaming at McDermott and throwing his hand at him in frustration.

McDermott was walking briskly in his direction like he wanted to kick his ass....... but at the last second appeared to be pretending to not notice him.

Someone on staff spun Beasley by the shoulder and escorted him to the bench area.

Beasley was pacing around audibly yelling "I'm done, I'm done".

Did you guys see this on the broadcast?    Was it discussed in the postgame?

I guess that's probably just 2021 Beasley being 2021(in 2022) Beasley but it was noteworthy.

I want to see him rip his uniform off like AB but only because of a Super Bowl victory not this... whatever is irking him needs to be fixed ASAP!

Oh please.   Really ?

Cole Beasley is a detriment to the Bills because he runs his mouth ?

Amazingly disingenuous.

It is amazing. This team doesn’t need his demeanor. Put your head down, work hard, and go home. Help the team win a super bowl. It’s not hard. Beasley has lost a step anyways. I’d much rather have McKenzie out there.

This just adds fuel to the fire: I don't expect Beasley to back with the team next year.

It's like things have broken down between him and management at this point, perhaps irreparably.

I didn't expect Beasely to be back with the team next year the moment he signed his contract. It seems clear it was designed to be able to cut him this offseason.

After this season, I can't wait for it to happen.

It's not crazy, Bease has been a great player for a long time going back to Dallas but he definitely is at the age and point of his career where he's probably going to continue to decline.

I know some fans think McKenzie is better or some sort of easy drop in replacement, but I would question that if anything because outside of the Pats game where he clearly played out of his mind he hasn't show a lot in his career either.

At the end of the day WR is a sneaky need and priority for this team heading into the offseason especially with the prospects of both Sanders and Beasely playing their last games whenever this playoff run ends.

Not doubting the OP knowledge, just trying to say I did not witness this occurring and was at the game/strong view of the sideline and coaches/players.

I've now had multiple people call me Karen's, which I find hilarious, for responding to the OP post (mind it not creating this story).

Again, I'm not certain what the OP witnessed at the exact time they saw it. .just saying I saw nothing and Beas/coaches didn't show any issues that I saw on the sideline or as they exited the field.

Personally I'd like to see them upgrade on BOTH Beasley and McKenzie this offseason.  A dynamic slot receiver who can break tackles, line up in the backfield, return punts (without the drama), contribute to the locker room (without the drama) - sign me up.

I didn't mention McKenzie only because he's on a 1 year deal and for whatever reason he seems to have a short leash with McDermott. I would like to see more of him but he doesn't seem to get meaningful snaps outside of gadget stuff. His pure speed + Allen makes him a threat for sure on the field though. I'd like to see him more than Beasley in the playoffs.

My guess is he’s probably working through an injury. Plus, he just had covid, and that can linger a bit. Yeah, he’s a bit older but I bet he brings it during the playoffs. Last year all our WRs were injured for the playoffs, so I hope that’s not the case this year.

Don't we have interesting real things to discuss this week Vs. something made up? There's 20+ NFL cameras, and 60,000 phone cameras in the stadium, and yet NONE of this was captured? Beasley's hardly worth a ANY discussion at this point anyway. He's irrelevant.....  I "thought" I saw a few of the Kardashians, fighting with Kanye at the game. Maybe I'll start a thread on that.

An upgrade to a WR who can get YAC is a massive need.

If he helps us win a Superbowl, great, but do you expect him to contribute to the team in the same way next season? He's lost a step and is a huge distraction breaking an agreement that all of the Bills players made and Cole decided that he didn't need to abide by it. IF this occurred and it's not the normal level of 'frustrated player' that occurs during the game, then that's a huge distraction / unacceptable actions right before the playoffs .

I noticed that Gabe and Diggs each had 14 targets yesterday and Cole only had like 3. It could have been the gameplan he didn't like.

And there was a game this year where Cole caught 11 balls I think.

He needs to go this offseason but I hope he makes a few clutch plays in the playoffs.

BB likes to take away one of the WRs. If its Diggs then someone else needs to step up and Allen needs to stay patient.

Honestly I value players like McKenzie who have talent and don’t run their mouths during the season. I want football, I want players to put their head down and do their jobs and win. If people want to use their social influence for whatever cause, they should do so off the football field. Even if it’s for a great cause.

I guarantee the vast majority of posters here don’t go into their work place and shout slogans at work or give their bosses an ear full. Generally people don’t want that. Beasley is wearing out his welcome for the same reason as others.

I believe Diggs and Davis both had performance bonuses that were in reach.

McKenzie is known to run his mouth quite a bit...  on the field. The Bills players talk about it a lot, but he does it in an endearing manner that makes the guys like him.
