I sincerely thank Beasley for all he's done as a member of the Bills.

That said, I'm beyond ready to see the Bills move on from him. The headache he seems to present outweighs the production he brings.

After this season, I truly hope the Bills move on.

This. -if not sooner.

I'm kinda shocked that NO reporters seem to have made any kind of note about this interaction.  Makes me wonder if it really happened or not....

In a world where the favorite pass-time of reporters is to dump on Beasley, only 1 man saw this happen.

Could be a fun movie.

I know there was a dust up with Beasley and McDermott earlier in the season....but don't remember the details.  It seems to me that the whole Covid issue is just symptomatic of something else.  In Dallas, Beasley became a malcontent as discussed here:  https://cowboyszone.com/threads/cole-beasley-wrong-to-let-him-go.472288/page-8  It seems like something happens and is "just done" with a team or coaches and he is unhappy and trying to work his way out of town.  This whole year he just has not been the same player and though not much locker room news comes out of the Bills camp, it does seem like he is unhappy with the team and they are not happy about him...for whatever reason.

True. However if it did happen...for whatever reason....I think we should be in agreement that he has really been a bit of a drama queen this season. And be it due to injury, coaching, or whatever the reason he hasn't been as consistent when he gets opportunities and the juice may not longer be worth the squeeze.

Honestly - if he was pissed about all the gabe davis targets... he and i are in agreement.  Davis was absolutely awful in that game.

Well, yeah.  If there really was the kind of tension as described, there would've been a ton of folks amping it up.  Maybe it was such a fleeting moment that it got missed, but me wonders if we getting trolled a bit... 🤔

I don't think the OP made any assumptions like so many of the responders have.... He was asking for any validations.

"I'm done" can mean a WHOLE LOT of things.

- Done with these refs not calling holds

- Done with this game due to the injury I have

- Done with Josh and his awful passes! (LMAO)

And obviously other things that have been mentioned.

I, for one, think Beasley can go fu*k himself.  The sooner he's gone, the better.

That's a real harsh statement about a player who has had a stellar career including 2+ great seasons for the Bills.  The guy is beat up and obviously heading towards the end of his career.  But why the hell would you speak about him that way?  Did he personally cause you serious bodily harm?  Grow up.

He did have a rough game... However the field is nowhere to throw the hissy fit. It's not like Cole was paying all world ball yesterday (or pretty much anytime in the 2nd half of the season) anyway.

This isn't about his career; nor is it about his last two seasons with the Bills.  It's about this season.  It's not like I'm wishing death on the guy.  I just feel like he's more of a liability than an asset and I'd prefer to not see him in a Bills uniform again.  That's not harsh.  It's business ... which is exactly what the NFL is.

I have never liked any players who put themselves before their team.  To me, this is not a vax issue; it's a selfish a-hole issue.  It's why I wanted Flutie gone, why I wanted Tyrod gone and why I want Beasely gone.  It has nothing to do with the vax, per se.  It has to do with the player and his negative impact on the team.

I don't see him as a "me first" guy at all but that's my opinion.  If Beasly caught the winning TD in the super bowl, I'd bet you would cheer your @ss off.

I have a hunch he's playing with a non-minor injury. He's not the same player that he was in the first couple/few weeks of the season.

He is old.  Thats all.  Why are there always injury conspiracies?  All players are banged up at this time of year.  Im sure his ribs still bother him a little bit but not that much.  Just face the fact that he is old and lost a step.  Plus he has obvious attitude problems.

Thank for posting this. I didn’t notice it on TV.

That’s disappointing.  Cole is disappointing. Oh well.  Hopefully we can replace him effectively in the offseason.

Except the most logical explanation for an event such as this, is Cole was mugged.  Players complain all the time, this isn't new.  And McD would be coming down to let the ref know it.

The announcers don't show it because that is not what they want the game to be about.

I was also at the game and did NOT notice this altercation on the sideline at all.

@Chandler#81 or any mod, are we just taking 1 posters word for it and running with it now? Has @BADOLBILZ been critical of Beas/have a vendetta with him previously?  Only ask because. again I did not witness this and this "story" has not been confirmed or mentioned by anyone....including media members. post game interviews, etc

I got back late last night so didn't see game thread or re-watch the game so not sure if it was discussed......

But after a 3rd down pass to Beasley went incomplete he ran off the field screaming at McDermott and throwing his hand at him in frustration.

McDermott was walking briskly in his direction like he wanted to kick his ass....... but at the last second appeared to be pretending to not notice him.

Someone on staff spun Beasley by the shoulder and escorted him to the bench area.

Beasley was pacing around audibly yelling "I'm done, I'm done".

Did you guys see this on the broadcast?    Was it discussed in the postgame?

I guess that's probably just 2021 Beasley being 2021(in 2022) Beasley but it was noteworthy.

He was probably Blaming Daboll for his issues too. 😀

What doesn't it have to do with what is being discussed?  Beasly has been a solid contributor here, he played with a BROKEN BONE in his leg last post season, and you are going on about him being "selfish" simply because he was outspoken about his stance on the vaccine.

Football is a highly emotional game for players and coaches.  A player got hot and popped off coming to the sideline, wow...that never happens in every football game. Move on.

The dude has a way of turning up big when we need him.  As long as he dons the red/white/blue, I support him regardless of his "status".

Here's hoping the tar and feathers pitchfork brigade eats their words come February.

Because it wasn't on TV it was made up?  I don't know the OP to make stuff up.  It might be but just because it wasn't on TV doesn't mean it was made up.  If Belichick destroying a surface tablet wasn't on TV does that mean he didn't do it?  A lot of football doesn't make it on TV.

Do love how short people's memory is on this website

Just wait till McKenzie fumbles one more time, are you really going to be begging to see him playing more?

The backup is always the favorite on the team because there's always some hidden potential

MacKenzie's good but he has put the ball on the carpet more in two or three years as a backup then Beasley's done in 3 years as a starter.. that's why he doesn't play as much

This year to get past the AFCCG  we need to utilize McKenzie to 100% of his potential.  If we keep Beasley in there I don't see this happening.

It feels like Beane is treating real life like I treat Madden. Cole is “good enough” and McKenzie is in a contract year. Don’t give McKenzie enough snaps to keep his value super low. Sign him to a million year deal at league minimum.

Except this is real life. And doing that can drive the value up for a player who feels slighted.

So, someone brings up something they saw and is looking to confirm if it made the broadcast. Rather than just saw "I did not see it" you go after a guy's credibility. Even tagging in a Mod. What a very "Karen" response. You literally are asking to speak to the manager. Outstanding.

Again ... I'm not talking about previous seasons.

And again, again ... regardless of the topic, his inability to keep his mouth shut has been a distraction.

Nowhere in any thread here will you see me calling out unvaxxed Bills players for not getting vaxxed.  That goes for Beasley as well.

I'm sorry that it's so goddamn hard for a few of you to grasp that I'm sick of Beasley because he's an unwanted distraction; not because he's outspoken about the vax.

It's really quite simple.

I did notice his body language seemed to be lacking energy. I think on his 2nd reception I asked my buddies if he was injured or something.  He looked checked out.

Idk why he hasn't been as involved as of late, he is a great slot wr that has a knack for converting 1st downs

My brother in law was there. Not too many people have better seats.  Beasley was upset but he never yelled at McDermott. You can't honestly believe in this day of social media nobody else saw what the OP said. It is totally made up or perhaps a mistake. Beasley never yelled at McDermott yesterday. Did not happen.

Lighten up.

It's not just bringing up, did someone see such and such.  It can be and has been portrayed by many already as an attack on Beas or putting him at fault for "supposed" altercation.

This day and age, once info gets out there. it's like gospel to people.  Just trying to point out that I did not witness it...did you? Or you just believing this happened because you have a beef with Beas and want it to be true?

Perhaps OP mistakenly saw what he thought he saw, or the altercation was a nothing burger..again, take it for what you will.

The coaches sucked yesterday. If his frustration had anything to do with the game plan/play calling I don't blame him.

With that said, Beasley is not the same player and needs to take a seat. McKenzie should be getting more snaps.

They came out flying. Threw it a little too much as the game went on.

Message to everyone involved in Gugny's discussion here:

It's OK to disagree and to not share opinions with other people on a particular topic.

Just now, FilthyBeast said:

This is probably Beasley's last year in Buffalo for a number of reasons but even if this event happened it's probably being overblown by those who witnessed.

He's a passionate player and the playcalling yesterday was suspect at best.

What makes you suggest it was overblown?  You didn't even see it.   Maybe.  Maybe not.

Your projecting your own take on the story to conform with what you would prefer to believe.

Which is natural and normal psychology--but be aware that's what you're doing.

Calling me a Karen, because I'm trying to make sure the correct story and not some.misinterprtation  are out there?

Really....

OP seems like the Karen act.. let me report something unsubstantiated/see what everyone reactions will be.

Sorry to ask for confirmation.  Next time I will just follow along and not question/mention anything that I see.
