  1. Keon colemans comp is kelvin benjamin so beane will draft him again lol
  2. Super Bowl would be more stressful than fun lol. I'm with you. I would even settle for seeing boards like 10 years later. I wish teams would release them like the jfk stuff after a regime is no longer there, release the info!
  3. This is surprising! Odunze and Williams seem to have this whole bromance going. On the other hand with only 4 picks it makes a lot of sense. Man I love the draft lol.
  4. I don't think its an either or proposition. It really comes down to the talent evaluation and player development. I am 100% in agreement that the Bills reason for failing is not enough difference makers so I am not against trading up and going all in, however I also don't hate the idea of trading back and throwing a bunch of darts at the board. I would love to get one of the top 3 but if we could get 2 of the next 7 or so guys I would also be very happy. Is it better to have 1 of Odunze, MHJ (unrealistic), Nabers, or have 2 of Worthy, Mitchell, Legette, McConkey, Coleman, Franklin, and Pearsall? I honestly don't know. I purposely left off BTJ as I think he is in his own category. Won't have to sell the farm to get him but also he has a chance to be a difference maker by himself. I also can't shake Nabers on a live stream saying BTJ is going to the Bills. I am starting to think he will be the guy in a small trade up.
  5. I like Worthy and do understand the concerns. However sharing the field with another 1st round and traditional x in AD Mitchell, Worthy was the leading receiver. Also Ewers is not a great deep ball thrower. At this point there are so many wrs I see the good and the bad with. I just hope they draft a wr and don't get cute lol.
  6. With the last and final pick of round 1 at 32 the KC Chiefs select Nate Wiggins CB Clemson. He will slip right in and replace L'Jarius Sneed. Although Newton is rated higher, I think him playing the same position as Chris Jones leads me to my pick. As the best man-coverage cornerback in this draft class, Wiggins is a perfect fit for Kansas City. It’s true: he doesn’t have the size that most Chiefs cornerbacks have — but neither did Trent McDuffie. While McDuffie has more weight and density, Wiggins is longer — and should profile better as an outside cornerback. And like McDuffie, Wiggins’s film shows an unexpected level of physicality and strength. https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2024/3/21/24104248/chiefs-draft-clemson-nate-wiggins-man-coverage#:~:text=As the best man-coverage,better as an outside cornerback.
  7. I was trying to find dads that werre succesful and then the son was better than them. There are tons of families that played just not a lot of elite father son duos.
  8. Archie and peyton manning? Clay and clay mathews? Only 2 I can think of.
  9. I remember how much you hated the idea of Allen being the pick. So much you threatened to quit being a fan of the team if he was the selection. Yet here you are. With that profile pic to boot.
  10. I dont understand is it some sort of gotcha? Johnston had a lot of detractors last year. Also every single talent evaluator misses on people.
  11. Why do you keep bringing up johnston? Hes 6'4 and ran in the 4.5s. He and worthy are completely opposite style receivers.
  12. I agree data and analytics are light years ahead which is why I will trust the process lol. If Beane believes a trade way up is the best option I will believe they weighed all their options and determined this was the best course of action. An hour ago you argued with me the Rams won the super bowl so it was a good move lol.
  13. I disagree strongly that he is a 1 trick pony. He is indeed fast but he was the leading wr for texas with ad mitchell on the team. He can play the position. Being fast is the cherry on top.
  14. Sure but the Rams traded for established studs in Ramsey, Stafford, and then Cooks. In fact when they traded capital to use in the draft they got goff so again I think they run antithesis to this conversation.
  15. What? Lol The Rams are the exact opposite of what we are discussing. They traded picks for established players. If the discussion was trading their picks for jefferson then you could use the Rams as an example.
  16. I understand the cost savings but to get one of the top 3 guys where the floor is high enough with the ceiling also being high, I have a hard time finding the cost to just not be prohibitive. Getting to the top 10 will likely cost 2 1s and 2 2s. In your example you get starter level players but not difference makers to pair with your wr. A 4 million corner and 2 million dt are bargain players and possible liabilities. BTJ has enough question marks that I don't know that he will become one of those $30 million guys so giving a ton up for him makes me really nervous. I'm not against it, it just makes me uncomfortable. Having the Vikings 2nd next year helps a ton. They can perhaps do something like 28, 60, and both 2nds next year. That would be great for the Bills I just wonder if any team will delay gratification for a year and slide all the way down. I think the Bears are locked on odunze as williams and he appear to have a bromance brewing. So nabers is really the only option between 5 and 8. I really feel minnesota is going to 5 and Schoen is fighting for his job so I don't think those are options. Now we are down to 7 or 8. Are tenn or atl with new head coaches going to want to punt on adding premier talent and slide all the way down to 28? Not unless they get blown away by an offer imo.
  17. A thought I can't shake: How many wrs currently in the nfl would you trade 2 1st round picks for? It isn't many. I get the idea of the player being cost controlled but I still have a hard time seeing it being worth it especially since it likely will cost additional picks.
  18. You're not qwhite looking at the right thing. It's qwhite easy to see why so many love ladd. /s The biggest concern i have for mcconkey is his health. He has been banged up or missed games each year. I like Worthy as he is the guy in the 2nd tier with production and an elite trait. I can talk myself into liking any of the wrs including mcconkey tho.
  19. I have felt all along its qbs in the first 3 picks mhj to arizona then the vikings trading up with the chargers at 5. The Chargers could then use 11 and 23 to draft one of each of those guys.
  20. Chiefs 49ers Random that you need filled. Im on vacation at a waterpark w the family so ill help however i can but its gonna be tough lol
  21. I only stumbled on him when I was looking up advanced stats on wrs. He compares to puka nacua and i think we are going to see a little bit of the josh allen effect with nacua. I saw it at the combine when they brought up him excelling in the gauntlet and all of a sudden this year the gauntlet was a very important event. Another thing that stuck out to me is how much I take fbs and nfl production values for granted lol.
  22. Hey i found one on youtube! Lol He got pffs 5th highest season score. They probably don't need a highlight cut bc he won't be drafted but he dominated the fcs competition which is important imo if you are going to make the jump to the pros.
  23. Hayden Hatten https://nfldraftdiamonds.com/2023/07/hayden-hatten-2/ Another guy like Franklin that analytics love. Big x and can be had very late. Would love one of the late round dart throws to be on this guy.
  24. I've seen a couple of times that Penix is a guy who will likely go in the first round after the first 4 guys are off the board. Seahawks were mentioned along with the Raiders and Vikings (if they can't trade up).
