Look, Baker is doing well, no doubt. But saying this garbage after playing the f’ing Giants? Give me a break.

These talking heads do this as they know most people have a 30 second memory. When Josh continues his ascent, the tune will change and this will be forgotten. These a**-hats are just looking for clicks. Sickening.

Baker can be good when he has a run game. Can Baker be asked to drop back 30 times in a half and not even try to run and do what Allen did to the Seahawks, 49ers or Broncos?

Good luck with that. Same for Tannehill. That is what separates QBs now...Allen doesn't need a run game, he can simply destroy teams on his own now like Mahomes or Rodgers can...or like Brady used to.

Its definitely starting though. I have heard at least 3 times this week during a broadcast, or other shows, I was a big josh allen fan coming out and thought he would be good by people that would not have said that before.

Cole Beasley is a pro bowler.

You honestly missed out on the best stuff at the end.  Talking about Odell and Baker and what was going on between the two of them and talking about national TV commercials.

Yes, the more national TV commercials your team has the the better you are.  It was really bizarre to watch.  "who is better when it comes to national tv commercials" is apparently skips new measuring stick (he didn't talk about Allen and commercials but you could tell that was what he was getting at).

Congrats to Josh.  That should shut a lot of people up now.

You gotta be kidding.  Not likely.

I think if there was a slot WR position he'd win it for that but since it's just all WRs he ends up losing out to other teams #1s.

Yeah, someone (maybe Hyde?) made a similar point about Milano last year - that because Edge and OLB are lumped together, guys who are not edge rushers but are excellent LB get snubbed.

Similar I think for a slot WR, he gets considered with all the guys who rack up yards and receptions deep

I already hear the nasally, flaccid nosed voice of Wright on how he even got one vote, let alone make the pro bowl.

And honestly, I love these guys that have the worst takes right now about how someone is better or he cant compete the same or how whatever excuse they want to make up.

They like their guys and the only reason they have to put him down, is because they are afraid of what he can do.

They can yes, however I'm not sure that's how they would normally run a 5 wr set.  Especially if you really wanted to run a 5 WR set with actually WRs.

It’s a pro bowl and they’re playing Madden.  Alternates replace players.....they don’t just get added to the roster.  They put ST players and other positions in there if they run 5 wide in real life.  Why would it change now......when they’re playing madden?

Well isn't that kind of negating your original question as to why they would add alternates?

And they always added more people for the real thing so why would a vote change that?

I mean some people are just dumb.

This was some of the worst garbage I’ve ever heard. Maybe he saw how many more clicks the other morons were receiving for making negative remarks about Allen and wanted to get in on that?  Nobody can believe what Skip is saying. It just sounds so forced and fake.

Mahomes is joined in the AFC by quarterbacks Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills and Deshaun Watson of the Houston Texans. For the NFC, it's Rodgers, Seattle's Russell Wilson and Arizona's Kyler Murray.

Go Josh !!! Beat the virtual crap out of them

(Instead, players will be celebrated on Jan. 31 during two Pro Bowl-themed shows airing on an ESPN/ABC simulcast, with a virtual Pro Bowl experience within the Madden NFL 21 video game.)

Skip, Skip, Skip....very disappointing. Is it the Texas-Oklahoma thing? JA>BM It isn't close. and what I love about this is Bake Mayfield looks good. And a year ago I would have been happy with QB play at the Baker level, now we have a guy who is downright transcendent.

Poyer should have been in there.  One of best safeties in NFL.

Makes sense but I wish the Bills got one more on there specifically Poyer. I think Hyde, Poyer, Beasley, Dawkins and D.Williams could all make it somewhat justifiably, if there is a "second team" or a reserve team anyone of those could make it.

There actually won't be a Pro Bowl game this season, just the honor.

That is honestly the way it should be in my opinion. I think the players should receive an "All Star" honor for their efforts on the season but an actual game is completely unnecessary.

Any of them except for Daryl Williams. The less recognition he gets the easier it will be to re-sign him.

Nice props for some of our boys. Selfishly, I just want them to focus on the games in front of them.

On NFL.com's pro bowl presser that third TD clip of Allen throwing has got to be the worst throw the NFL film guys could have grabbed...the ball had no spiral - was traveling through the air like a punt. Really? Out of all the incredible throws he has made this year, that's the throw they feature?

Poyer and Beasley should have made it way before Edmunds. How does Edmunds keep getting voted into this? He's not very good. In fact, he's the most overrated player I can think of in more than half a century of watching pro football. The probowl is just a meaningless popularity contest now.

Fortunately he already got *paid*

I have to disagree about Beane nailing his 1st round picks. Other than Allen, they have underperformed. That's not to say that Oliver and Edmunds are bad. They are both fairly good, but not good value for as high as they were drafted. At least they aren't busts. I really hope Beane nails his top 2 picks in '21.
