There are about 10 different critical plays that the Bills easily could’ve made, and didn’t, that resulted in that loss. I usually always re-watch the broadcast version once I get home, because it's always interesting to see things on TV that you miss when you're in the stadium. I have not re-watched this game yet. I keep saying "not yet, not yet", because I don't feel I'm ready to subject myself to the anguish again. I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever re-watch it. I probably will, but maybe not until closer to training camp kicks off. That way, I won't have to sit on the heartache for too long, because a new season will be right around the corner. I'm still not over that loss, which I flew all the way to Texas to see, and I don't know if I ever will be. That is the only positive I take out of this game..... a learning experience for a young team. There is no reason to suffer anymore than I need to. New season = SUPER BOWL BABY!!! As @thebandit27 points out, there are numerous ways the Bills should have iced this game, but in typical Bills fashion, went into complete meltdown mode instead. My real time reaction: “this is total horse ?. It’s a touchback. End of story. If they ruled a TD against the Bills in this scenario I’d be livid. They can’t really give us a TD for this, can they? On the play you're referring to if you watch again you may come to the conclusion that, while admitting the Bills botched the blocking assignments, the Texans defender launched into Allen with helmet to helmet contact. In most cases that's a personal foul but I guess the refs were holding onto their flags to throw for that blindside block. Although on Watson's 2 pt conversation an offensive player peeled back and hit Edmunds in the same way. Watch that one too. We decided to stay for one series after halftime to see if the Bills could could come out of the gate with anything and they came out and threw a pick 6. Usually I do it to learn more that self torture... because you already know the outcome so it’s more of a technical exercise than emotional at that point. The most you can argue is it was an illegal forward pass and penalty for a safety. But he gave himself up and if it was a Bill's player that did the same thing you would see it that way.
