The cheaters drive where they kicked a FG...... On one of their early plays, Jerry hughes is BLATENTLY held AND the OL has his hands to Hughes face. This was out in the open and near Brady, and should have been easy to spot. So instead of a panalty and 1st and 20, it's instead 2nd and 2. The very next play, Bills generate pressure, Brady panics and throws it away. AN OBVIOUS INTENTIONAL GROUNDING call is not made. The ref says a RB was in the area but, he was 15+ yards away from where the ball landed. That's a penalty, cut and dry. So now it's 3rd and 2, when it should have been 2nd and about 28. Pats easily convert 3rd and 2. A few series later t about the 35 yard line, it's 3rd and a long 2. Bills stop their run after a 1/2 yard gain. Refs give them a full yard. Next play, Bills again stop them after a 1/2 yard, refs give them a full yard AND a first down!!! WHAT?!? HE WAS CLEARLY SHORT ON 4TH DOWN!!!! AND THE SPOT ON 3RD WAS CRAP!!!! Nearly 20 years of biased calls Steering Patriot games in the Kraft direction. Someday the true level of Patriot favoritism will come to light. All_Pro_Bills
Are the Ref's biased toward NE when they play the Bills (and almost everyone else)? It sure looks that way much of the time. My beef is they are just so inconsistent from crew to crew, week to week, and game to game. Early on they called defensive PI on Tre and I thought there was contact but nothing too blatant. And I said okay, if that's the standard definition of defensive PI in this game then they better be consistent and call it both ways. They did not. Several times Bills receivers were held up, tugged, or contacted while the ball was in the air that was far more contact then the earlier call but nothing was called. That sequence arguably cost the Bills the game. If the refs had done the right thing and spotted the ball properly, resulting in the Bills taking it over, then everything else being equal, the Pats would have gone for one on their final TD to go up by 3, 20-17. Incidentally, on the first play of that possession — from the half yard line — Michel only got to the one yard line and they spotted it at the 2 yard line. 4 minutes ago, nucci said: they also called 2 big OPI against them calling back big plays....but their O-Line held all game Those OPI calls were obvious ones to call and were correct.

ToGoGo
It's the stain of the NFL that's been going on since the beginning. I'm glad fans are beginning to wake up, but this stuff gets worse the more important the games become. I agree that this game wasn't 100% decided by refs, but just like Vegas, if you give the house the advantage, they're going to win most games. Magnus Carlson isn't the best chess player in the world because he checkmates everyone in 10 moves, it's because he constantly gains small advantages over the course of the game. A few timely penalties is all that is needed to give a solid team like the Pats an advantage, along with whatever other shady stuff they do. Some obvious (Edelman's pick), some not (spying on play calls, messing with the road team's headsets or tablets, showing the field goal posts on the Jumbotron during a field goal, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.) It's not just rigged, but it's rigged smart. Plausible deniability. That's your concept of the day folks. Google it.

Ethan in Cleveland
Refs called a fair game. They missed a few calls. Really don't know how they missed FM but it was fourth and 1 and they could have been fixated on the ball and if it crossed the line. But come on they called the Pats for two offensive PI calls. Hyde practically tackled Edelman on the 2 pt conversion and they let it go. Metcalf spot was very favorable for the Bills. The spot where the Pats RB knee was down was not but no one could see the ball. Anyone watching that game other than a Bills fan sees no bias. Throw a catchable ball to Knox and Bills likely win.
