You do realize you do not need to be hammered for this to happen seen a few guys in boot camp stagger and fall over

Sadly, I remember Bruce's fall vividly.  Not his finest moment.

Once when I was a young lieutenant in Korea, I did something similar.  Up most of the night doing unspeakable things.  Next day we were listening to some lecture in the motor pool and I fell asleep standing up.  I awakened as a I was falling and desperately grabbed onto the guy next to me - who happened to be a major.  He was not even slightly amused when I dragged him down with me.  "Lieutenant, what the hell are you doing?!?!"  Wasn't much I could say in the way of an explanation.

Zero recollection

First time I saw this I laughed out loud. The news guy's reaction is priceless. He just kept trying to keep rolling. Even the camera guy shifting the camera off of Bruce. It was like, Hey just another day in the office with another stoned professional football player

.

I've seen this before, but don't remember it from when it was happening.

You have to love how the talking head mutant ignores the fact that a man just had a heart attack or stroke or God knows what in front of him and passed out, yet continues to ignore it and talk so as not to "disrupt the shot" or whatever.  Like maybe no one watching would notice what just happened.

That's not my take at all; it's a bunch of idiots not knowing how to react to what just happened.

I vividly recall this.

This happens frequently in the military when people lock their knees while standing at attention.

At the time, the team doc made clear he had the flu and was dehydrated.  Could have been cover but having seen Bruce in person many times, I believed him.

Thurman? Not so much. Saw him verbally b*tch slap two kids looking for autographs and my respect instantly fell. That was at Bruce’s golf tournament in Virginia. Andre was with him and said, “Come on, man.”

From these posts, looks like a few people actually believe it too.

I've read through some of the posts regarding the potential seriousness of the situation, but I'm pretty sure the host could smell the booze from a mile away. Made me laugh, but to each their own. I understand where they're coming from; just don't share their perspective.

Exactly, getting drunk before going on tv and drinking way more than you can handle seems more logical than showing up the flu.

No idea why people still make fun of this.  Passing out standing up, for any reason, is no laughing matter.  Anything can happen when your head falls to the floor from 6+ feet up.  Wasn't funny then, still ain't funny.

Geezus, lighten up...if he had injured himself it would be different...but he didn't.

"Don't laugh when a QB throws an interception, he would have donated money to charity!!!!!"
