The Bills Blog
I would highly recommend that all Bills fans watch the first 5 minutes of Frank Reich's press conference addressing Luck's retirement and how the Colts will move forward. Powerful stuff for any sports fan but particularly interesting for Bills fans. Reich closes his 5-minute remarks by quoting Marv Levy. https://www.colts.com/video/frank-reich-and-colts-continue-to-climb I think Reich speaks more like a pastor than a football coach in the traditional sense. The Colts with Reich will be an extremely interesting organization to monitor this year and going forward. 5 2

I think he is is one of very few coaches that can weather this storm and keep the team together and moving forward. I don’t think they will be good, but they will fight as a team. I love his demeanor and his attitude on this.

BillsDude
Great players and great coaches thrive under adversity and stressful situations. They do not melt. They learn more, work harder, become tougher and will find new pathways to succeed, when dangers lurk, bad things happen, and when unexpected curveballs come their way. 5
Saint Doug
Definitely a good speech. At first, it sounded like a eulogy. And it very well may be, but for the Colts. I guess tanking didn’t work out.

Call_Of_Ktulu
I alway thought Marv was a good coach. Sometimes it’s seemed like he was slow to make adjustments on the fly during a game but he was a good coach overall. Where I think Marv was elite is in his ability to motivate. Marv gave speeches that you would hear after the game that made you as a fan want to run through a brick wall for the guy. He also had a amazing ability to get a read on the type of personality that everyone on that team had and used the correct level of go hard or soft. I know Marv lives in Chicago and I hope I see him one time at Lincoln Station or Delilah’s on game day. Frank Reich looks like he has adopted a Marv type of mentality as a coach. NoHuddleKelly12
Reich's a straight up good dude, and I have little doubt he has what it takes to keep that team on track, apart from that. Best backup QB of all time! 2
JESSEFEFFER
The greatest comeback in NCAA history, may still be true, and the greatest comeback in NFL history as a QB and brought his team from 1 and 5 to a 10 and 6 playoff season as the HC. I think he knows something about mental toughness and leadership.

eball
Reich is a good dude. I wouldn't have minded him being the Bills' HC one bit. But it didn't work out that way and I'm very happy with McD as well. May the Bills and Colts meet in January for many years to come. 5

Chill
Sounds like a eulogy of a funeral. So much cover up for one average player. The guy quit two weeks before the season start, he definitely let his team down. It’s time to let it go and forget about him. Probably will cost Frank his job... Nextmanup
I like Frank a lot, always have. I think he'll do a very good job at trying to keep the train on the tracks in Indy. I do not think they will be nearly as bad as some think. Don't think they'll be picking top 3 in the draft next year.

I think they hold onto him as long as they can, but... I also don't think dealing him is an impossibility. I think, if the price is right, they will. Further, he may want out, and a shot at starting at some point between now and when his contract is up. Thus, the Bills may also want to get something for him instead of seeing him walk at the end of his contract.
