I thought his attitude and work ethic in Buffalo was poor, so perhaps I have a personal view, but based on that I wouldn’t be giving him another job even a demotion.. I think it's that a lot of people see him as a clown that will always get a job regardless of most recent performance while others that may be deserving don't get nearly the opportunity. In New England he was demoted from LB to just outside LB coach. Never had meaningful promotion in same organization. I remember Rob standing on the sidelines in front of Dennis Thurman often. I understand he was the assistant head coach but I don't think you should be front in center over the defensive coordinator.
