Predict the score: Bills at Vikings

Minnesota Vikings

For the first time since the 2017 postseason, Pat Elflein was listed as a full participant on the injury report. If the second-year center continues to practice in full on Thursday and Friday, there's a possibility he will return in Week 3 against Buffalo. Running back Dalvin Cook suffered a hamstring injury in Week 2 that he equated to a "cramp," but it appears to be more than that, as it kept him out of practice three days later. Cook said he's taking things "day by day" and will see how he feels at the end of the week. Everson Griffen (knee), Rashod Hill (ankle), Marcus Sherels (chest) and David Morgan (knee) were held out of Wednesday's practice. -- Courtney Cronin

Vikings 24

Bills 17

Bills shock everyone running out to a 10-0 lead only for Minnesota to come back with 24 unanswered. Allen and the offense score early 4th to make it a 7 pt ball game and get one last drive which he is picked trying to tie.

Allen: 21-36 303yds 2 TDs 1 INT

Murphy: 50 yds rush 36 rec

Benjamin: 85 yds 5 rec 1 TD

vikes scored 24 and 29 in their first two games. of course now they face the bills but if the defense steps up like it did last week in the 2nd half, they can keep the score respectable?

that said, I don't see a blowout and not even a real close game but the bills will manage to hold the vikes to 31 while the kid and the offense come away with 23.

vikes 31

bills 23

I feel better knowing McD will have more of a say in defenses play calling.

Our backfield needs to come to like and pick off Cousins.

What the hell, 23-14 Bills. As Joachin Andujar said "there's one word in America that says it all, and that one word is 'you never know'." Allen proves a quick study, even as the O-Line stays a mess, while the D builds from last week (pass rush picks up -- they were starting to get some good pressures in the second half -- somehow, someone steps up as second cornerback and also comes out of the locker room after halftime). It' a coming out party for the whole 2018 draft.
