Plano
The roster now stands at 53. I guess they really wanted Schmidt to get the Schmidt outta town! Ryan Lewis, not bad!
RaoulDuke79
What was wrong with Schmidt? He was no Moorman, but he was decent at what he did. I never heard of this Corey fellow. Edited September 2, 2018 by RaoulDuke79
AllenWillBust
They really seemed to have a bug up their ass for getting rid of Schmidt. Does "not our guy" really apply to a punter? This FO is odd. Edited September 2, 2018 by AllenWillBust

Meazy26
Schmidt was having a hard time punting it 40 yards this preseason. We need a guy who can flip the field, not a guy who can’t get it past midfield. 7

Buffalo716
Honestly I’m pumped about Schmidt being cut he has been really bad for a while... we are going to be in field position games all year and Schmidts leg gets more dead by the day Reading about this kid it looks like he has great touch inside the 20 and can boom it when he needs to hopefully he is an ace Edited September 2, 2018 by Buffalo716

dezertbill
There is a reason why he didn't punt all pre season. The Pats were trying to stash him. They wouldn't even let him punt warm ups on the main field vs. Eagles since the Eagles were looking at adding a punter. Sounds like a Belichick thing to do. Bills saw through it and moved in. Gutsy move. Props to Beane and his staff. https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2018/09/buffalo_bills_claim_new_england_patriots_cb_ryan_lewis_p_corey_bojorquez_off_wai.html Edited September 2, 2018 by dezertbill 6

Doc Brown
47.3 yards per punt last year in New Mexico. Corey Schmidt was at 44.7 ypp. I don't like using college stats to project an NFL player's performance, but that's all you can really go off of at this point. ocemur
Belichik has a fetish for left footed punters. The ball spins the opposite way and can mess with returners. I wonder if this guy is a lefty.

jimmy10
Love it. Beane’s college scout team did their homework and the pro scouts took note of the Pats attempt to stash him. Love the lefty angle too. Makes sense the rotation would mess with returners.

brianthomas
With our interior o-line having issues, it still sucks a bit to lose Ike Boettger to the Chiefs. I know our staff knows more about him than we do but i'd like to see more depth added & not see these guys go. The punter & cb look promising however!
