  1. Seems that NFL refs get off scott-free each week for calls that are either incompetent, or unethical. Yet when it’s all said and done, refs go home to their normal lives with no repercussions. The NFL doesn’t care because they are a multi billion dollar business. Refs don’t care cuz they get away with it with zero repercussions. If the NFL doesn’t care that their refs are unethical or incompetent, then the names of the refs who are making/ not making these calls should be exposed to the Public. It would be interesting to see if the exposing the names of these refs making bad calls for their own personal agenda would help their competence level and make them be more efficient? Anyone have the names of the ref(s) who made the call against Wallace and didn’t call the Diggs PI vs Bucs that we can post on the board?
  2. Breida began sprinting left right away. That tipped off the CB on the end as well as DE. Had he just casually jogged up it may have worked. Plus a bad sell by Josh. Fitz did it better
  3. I personally would want Elijah Moore over Etienne. But I would love either. I can see Etienne as a Kamara comp, so moving up to get a player like that isn't a shock for me. Beane has been pretty tight lipped over the years, so it's a surprise that something like this would get out. Could be a smoke screen. Could be true. But whatever Beane decides he has earned the trust of the fans to do what he thinks is right. But gotta say if Asante Samuels Jr. is there, no way they don't pick him.
  4. It will either be the Bucs or the Rams for Shady. Minimum deal either way
  5. I can see BB going through camp to see where Murphy stands. If he isn't up to par, then it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he would cut Murphy and sign Clowney to a one year deal close to Murphy's savings. With the salaries of Cam and Jameis, I can see a team signing Clowney for less than $10 mil. Only caveat is I don't think he'll be a FA past the first day of training camp. He will sign somewhere by then, and it will be too late.
  6. This, right here, is 100% truth. A lot of guys don't get this, and think standing up for one's self isn't being a real "gentleman". Just because he's a 350 lbs lineman doesn't mean he isn't prone to this. There does come a point though when it's too late, and there is no saving the relationship. No matter what he does, he has taken her BS for so long, and she is so conditioned in her behavior, she simply won't believe him if he tries to change. She'll just simply keep testing him, and either she will get frustrated and tell all of her friends what a jerk he has become and leave, or he will bend once again to her ways and go through this nightmare all over again. Until your a millionaire stuck in an unhappy relationship with a woman you despise with the fear she'll try to take you to the cleaners if you leave, it's tough to judge this guy.
  7. I don't see BB signing Kaep. It would make more sense for the Vikings to sign him. They have Sean Manion and Jake Browning as their backups. For a playoff team thinking they are a Cousins Injury away from having one of those two guys under center is scary.
  8. Kinda reiterates how players know their roles with the team, and using that to earn their spot. Because Davis is a "team" player and is an asset as an extra coach, it makes him more valuable than another back up who isn't as "team" oriented.
  9. Can't wait for training camp and pre-season. That's when we'll see how the chemistry really is
  10. He'll get 2 weeks. 4 at worse due to the substance that's not allowed by the league without notice. That's it.
  11. Tried watching an interview with Glab and BB and I had to turn it off. She is just too annoying to listen to. I guess I won't be listening on her days
  12. If Moulds played his career with Kelly as did Reed he would be a HOFer
  13. It's a stretch to think the Bills are going to cut him before the end of his rookie deal, but the fact that Sat. night automatically triggers his salary to be non-gtd is an eye-opener. Yikes.
  14. For those that are old enough on this board, I'm sure we've all done something we're not too proud of in our early 20's. The guy made a mistake. It's not an indictment on his character. It's mistake. I saw a post where first time DWI offenders get 2 games. Both charges (DWI and Weapon) are misdemeanors. On the video, he looked to be compliant. He'll hire a good lawyer and they'll take care of him I'm sure when its all said and done Ed will learn from this and move on. He'll realize that things could have been alot worse, and to not take for granted the gift God and the universe has given him in the game of football. Other than that, all of the crazy talk from all the perfect people on this board commenting as if they've never made a mistake is hypocritical.
  15. The 911 caller stated he was driving erratically and dangerously. So I'm sure once they tracked him down and saw him weave once they pulled him over.
  16. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/05/17/ed-oliver-arrested-for-dwi-unlawfully-carrying-a-weapon/ No bueno. We finally have all the pieces and this has to happen. SMH
  17. Only 27 starts. He improved, and will get better. Eli Manning had 3336 passing yards, 56 completion % and 20 INT's the year they wont the SB in 2007. Also had 25 INT's the year before they won SB in 2011. But he was a winner, and when he needed to make a play he did. I foresee a long career ahead for Allen due to his competitiveness. and drive. His stats won't define him.
  18. I agree nothing wrong with 4.6 speed. But the guns at the yard markers (not hand time) clocked him at 4.52. It wasn't generous, it's what he ran.
  19. Warford looking for 7 million per season? Cutting Long will save $4 million. Easy decision. Get er done BB https://thejetpress.com/2020/05/11/ny-jets-larry-warford-reportedly-looking-7-million-per-season/
  20. FYI You can sign up for free for Game Pass, which allow you to watch any game from I believe 2009 until last season. Runs out in June I believe.
  21. Pretty cool video piece by a local TV station showing Edmunds' mom running drills with a whistle (she's a P.E. teacher) while dad also assists. They admitted their parents wouldn't let them slack off during the pandemic, and made sure they are training and learning via IPads, etc. Not sure if I've seen anything like this. I can see what McD and BB was talking about when it comes to their family unit. I think it speaks highly about the character of the parents, and the type of habits they are handing down to their kids. Championship mentality. Pretty cool. https://www.wdbj7.com/content/news/NFL-trio-The-Edmunds-Brothers-train-as-a-family-while-NFL-facilities-and-gyms-are-closed-570061381.html
  22. For the record, there were two other QB's that came out of college that had seemingly "weak arms" Tom Brady and Joe Montana. But both Tom and Joe had "it". Many say Jake has "it" as well. So we'll see.
