  1. If BB isn't blown away by what's available at 9, he's trading down. Bank it
  2. Thinking 9 will either be DL, Edge, OT, or trade down If traded down, all three above plus TE
  3. This is his do or die year. I personally would have moved on with huge cap savings but McD and BB obviously know more than I. With that said he is no GTD to make final roster. He may be a final cut.
  4. McD want's Edmunds to be his MLB. Period, end of story. But if White can come in and play at this level at the OLB position, I"m game.
  5. I think based on the reports that we were going to swap 9 with 20 w/ Steelers for AB, that BB has his sights on trading down, which makes all the sense in the world. I would love to trade with Raiders 24 & 27 for 9th. IMO if we sign Philon that will take us out of the Ed Oliver race, although I like Oliver alot. W/ Hughes on the last year of his deal, Murphy not really doing much and Shaq still not tendered his 5th year, I see us going Edge 1st pick, which is deep in this draft. Although the interest in Ansah could change that.
  6. I really like this signing. But it still doesn't keep the Bills from drafting OL in first round. He's 33, and only signed for 2 years. So is Feliciano, who is a fringe starter. We need studs. Williams fits the Bill.
  7. Gore signing GTD we draft a starting RB in draft.
  8. Based on their FA acquisitions, the Bills are obviously more flexible with their 9th pick. I believe if a top 5 talent isn't there at 9, they trade down. If there is someone there that they thought "no way we have a shot" they will stay and take him. I would look out for DL/Edge pass rushing talents that may fall due to teams fighting for QB's. There are many blue chippers that may drop, and you always have that team in the top 10 that takes a player they love from left field. If they trade down, I'm OK with that. It will mean extra picks either in the 1st round, or multiple 2nd and 3rd's. With this FO, Beane's record in rounds 1-4 is pretty stellar. Hence why I see them signing older players to 1-2 year deals in OL and RB. To me that screams they will be trading down and taking prospects that they want to groom to be starters in a year or two. Plus, they'll be able to learn how to play, train, and study, the right way from veterans in the league, "high character guys". After the first week of FA, based on the age/talent levels of some of the players they signed, I see the Bills focusing on 1. DL/Edge (Edge-wise Hughes is 30 and in last year of deal, and Lawson is in limbo re; 5th year option, Trent Murphy is in a make or break year. The combo of Star/Phillips/Jordan may not be deep in enough in Beane's eyes. They haven't really done anything FA wise in those areas. They will in the draft. 2. TE (Kroft's deal is more of a 1 year prove it, and Jason Croom isn't anything to write home about. I see them taking TE in first two rounds.) 3. OL (with Nsekhe is 33, Long and Feliciano are fringe starters. Nsekhe can give a player taken in late 1st after trade or 2nd-3rd round time to grow). 4. RB (We have 3 RB's over 30, that's if Ivory sticks. Marcus Murphy is 27 and more of a role player. I see the Bills drafting RB early and be our workhorse in 2020 and beyond after Shady and Gore leave) 5. OLB (Alexander has maybe a year left. I see them taking an OL in first 3 rounds to replace him) And, of course, a CB somewhere
  9. I know many are downplaying John Brown's catch % because he is a long ball receiver. Foster avg. 20 yards per catch w/ catch % of 61.4 Brown avg. 17 yards per catch w/ catch % of 43.3 Only caveat is his catch % w/ Flacco was 53.2 while Jackson's was 26.6. On paper, even with a more conventional QB such as Josh Allen, Brown should have a better year. HOWEVER, Foster's catch % the first 6 games prior to getting cut last year was 22.2%. When he was re-signed week 10, his catch % over the last 7 games rose to a whopping 71.4% If Foster is busting his hump to improve on last year, I'm excited to see how high his ceiling can really be. It should push Brown as well. Either up, or out.
  10. I agree. Tape of him is very impressive. He literally sprints off the ball and crushes LB's and lineman. Great athleticism. Injury history is only concern, but he was healthy for 31 of first 32 games, so there's that.
  11. I would agree with this. I'm shocked that Paradis wasn't signed first day, and now talks of him renegotiating with Broncos? Paradis overplayed his worth. He better grab best deal possible before teams start phasing him out of their plans by signing other players.
  12. This is't going to happen. Sounds like a case of Bell's agent puffing up interest from other teams around the league so the Jets will up their offer. Many are reporting the Jets are the favorite and there isn't a close second. It's going to be the Jets.
  13. I think this is why. Miami's new head coach said as much that this will be in essence a rebuild. Teddy might think Dolphins draft a QB and send him out there to get killed while rookie QB gets groomed to take over the job. Why not stay in NO and learn from one of the best with a chance to take over a great team.
  14. If we sign Saffold/Williams that means we go BA in 1st round and take lineman at some point to groom. If we don't address LT then Beane is thinking draft.
  15. Current Oline RT Dawkins RG Teller C Morse LG Long LT (FA or Draft)
  16. My question is they hosted Allen first and he signed 2 years $7 million with Dolphins, and then they bring this guy in and pay him 3 year $18.75 mil? Wasn't Allen the cheaper option?
  17. $12 mil per year hopefully takes the Bills out of the race. I loev TW, but that's way too much
  18. Missed 14 games last 2 seasons. A little hesitant on this. I hope he can stay healthy
  19. My take is the Raiders were working with the Raiders and Bills, among others for a deal. IMO the Bills offered greater than the 3rd and 5th the Raiders paid. The Steelers wanted to take the Bills deal, but Brown stated he wouldn't play in Buffalo. So the Steelers used Rap Sheet to put out a report that Brown was on the verge of getting traded to Buffalo in order for the Raiders to raise their offer, even though the Steelers and Bills had known at that point that Brown wouldn't go to Buffalo. It ended up blowing up in their face. Within a few hours Brown reacted with Fake news. Beane said there were "positive talks" but no deal could be reached, most likely cuz Brown didn't want to play in Buffalo. So they had a small window to try and ramp up the Raiders offer, and it didn't work. So they settled for a 3rd and 5th, since at that point the Raiders were most likely bidding against themselves.
  20. I agree. Had they known then what they know now, they wouldn't have
