  1. I love Poyer and think Bills should throw a few dollars his way, but a holdout on his part would be counterproductive. Safety is just not the same as CB, it’s basically the RB of defense in terms of importance. Yes, the elite guys get paid, but the average/above average guys are replaceable.
  2. The excuse McD gives is that Star occupies 2 blockers... he could at least hold the line and make a play every once in awhile. Good 1-tech DT’s (especially those making 50m) can still get penetration and make plays. McD makes it seem as though it OK for him not to do that... no, he just sucks!
  3. Star has been the problem all year. I love the direction McBeane has this team going, but Star was an expensive mistake. He’s average on his best day. He should switch contracts with Jordan Phillips, but Star isn’t even worth Phillips’ 1yr/5m deal. Sad.
  4. I honestly think that as long as a player isn’t AB level crazy, McD and the rest of the locker room would make it work. That being said, Beane ain’t giving up 1st round draft picks and paying 80m on a new contract.
  5. King is a weapon if healthy (which appears to be the case). Not sure if he has certain contact demands maybe turning teams off, or just that teams don’t like fun punters. Pat Mcafee was fun and outspoken. Punters are people too.
  6. He was injured in Denver, only played 4 games. The season prior he had a 47 avg/42 net. I doubt he fell that far off the cliff. Back to full health now. I’d at least give him a tryout. He career average is damn good. Still only 30.
  7. I’d love to take a shot on Marquette King, but I guess teams don’t like outspoken punters.
  8. I’m super confused on this. Kalil Mack was traded to the Bears at the beginning of September last year and then signed a 6 yr deal. Is this a new rule or something?
  9. I don’t think Stevie Johnson ever lifted weights lol
  10. It seems as though Thomas is more effective inside than rushing on the edge. Maybe he can be our Kyle Williams replacement ?
  11. So many good and fast WR’s in the draft that will cost us far less than making a move for Anderson.
  12. If Jerry Richardson had to sell his team for work place misconduct, you’d think Kraft would have to as well considering he’s involved in a human trafficking ring.
  13. We can save $6,425,000 cutting Shady. I guess you could roll that into a Bell offer. But paying 14mil a year for a RB could haunt you long term. It’ll be interesting to see if the Bills FO goes big game hunting.
  14. I feel like I remember Jacksonville having like 70+ mil in cap like 3 or 4 years ago... mismanagement of epic proportions lol
  15. My dream is to sign Daryl Williams, Matt Paradis, and Trent Brown. (LT) Trent Brown - (LG) Dion Dawkins - (C) Matt Paradis - (RG) Wyatt Teller - (RT) Daryl Williams Probably would cost us at least 10mil per year for each guy. It’s would take upwards of about 35mil of our cap space. Still would have nearly 50mil left over. Sign another stud pass rusher and a WR... Playoffs! One can dream, right?
  16. He’s probably a choir boy in comparison to Richie Incognito, so the Pegula’s may be open to giving him another shot. Now there is no excuse for domestic violence, however, we have no idea what that woman did to provoke him. Using a racial slur (as rumored) towards Hunt could’ve set him off. I didn’t think it was an unforgivable act. It wasn’t a Ray Rice style KO. I don’t think his life should be over because of that incident.
  17. Unless Beane is an idiot, there is no excuse why this team shouldn’t be better. I’m not saying we’ll be able to lure all of the big fish (generally there isn’t a plethora of impact FA’s to begin with), but with the resources we have, we should no doubt be better. How much better? Remains to be seen...
  18. Man, with 10 picks and close to 90 mil in cap space, the light is shining bright!
  19. All is well. His left toe is probably better than Crossman. We’ve upgraded.
  20. Morgan sounds legit. Maybe bring back Andy Levitre for a few years as well.
  21. Sean Kugler, OL coach from Denver is a guy I got my eye on for a replacement. Coached our OL for a few years back in the day. Maybe he could bring Matt Paradise with him.
