YoloinOhio
https://buffalowdown.com/2018/08/14/buffalo-bills-zay-joness-road-redemption/ The stage is certainly set for Zay Jones to have a rebound and breakout season in 2018. He is in a new offense that certainly appears to be more modern in nature and should better utilize his skillset. Offensive coordinator Brian Daboll is all about creating and using mismatches to make his offense hum. That in and of itself should help the second-year wideout. He will also most likely be a featured wide receiver in the Bills offense. This should create plenty of opportunities for him to catch passes and prove that his 2017 season was a fluke. Based on his college numbers at East Carolina you can certainly see that he has the talent to succeed. 5

BruceVilanch
I am just glad I grew up in a time where social media wasn't a thing. Sure Zay's antics were on the extreme side but I am very glad none of the stupid **** I did in the military in my early twenties ever got caught on video. I hope he can bounce back and be a solid contributor to the team this year.

RoyBatty is alive
I am not going to get too excited. So they claim he is catching everything, just like he did in college but he is also catching under non-contact. Until he catches everything under contact it doesn't mean anything to me. He really hasn't proven he can be a reliable receiver in the NFL when the hits are coming. Also I think if he can remain healthy Kelvin Benjamin is going to be the "featured" WR. ddaryl
The whole road to redemption thing is over the top.. If he screwed the pooch for multiple seasons then we talk road to redemption.. I chalk last year to being a rookie and a young man going through the college of hard knocks. I expect him to improve a bunch this year..... I figure he learned a few very solid lessons early on and that might be the best thing that could of happened to him

YoloinOhio
If he can play like he has in camp... it’s simply huge. They invested a 2nd round in him. They could have 2 1st rd picks and a 2nd rd pick out there at WR ... let’s see how they do with a new QB and offense. Might not be as bad as we think at WR. 2

Come on Zay! Agree 100%. We do seem to have people on here who didn’t like the pick and voiced their displeasure. Now these same people feel the need to root against Zay it appears, so it makes them look right. Very unhealthy thought process. I want every Bill to be successful because it will mean the team I love to cheer is successful. It’s that simple.
dollars 2 donuts
Given our problems at WR during certain times last year it is crazy to think that as of right now we have 2 First round draft picks at the position, as well as a Second rounder who is coming around. After that lets throw in a much traveled veteran like Kerley who is just plain FORCING his way into first team playing time with how good his camp has been, and add a cherry on top named Streeter who was a camp darling last year before his injury and who, according to Sal, has made this team so far and you just have to start to really feel good about the position. Are they great? No, but damn if I am not encouraged. ...also, don't even get me started on what is a veteran, if not highly touted, offensive line. GO BILLS! EDIT: Jeepers, I didn't even mention Ray-Ray! Edited August 15, 2018 by dollars 2 donuts

Lfod
I still feel the same. Zay definitely tripped coming out of the gate. It's nice to know that he is working his way back in. I never like to write any one off but it's not like he's on my radar as far as having expectations. I really don't know what to expect of him as far as contributing to the season. He is still on the team for a reason. Just can't help feeling he fell behind some and I am going to need to see him actually making plays before I get even a lil excited Zay Jones is a Bill. SoTier
IIRC, Zay looked pretty good in preseason but couldn't catch a cold in the regular season, so I'm not jumping on his bandwagon until he starts producing when the games actually count. C.Biscuit97
I remember the same article about James Hardy! Jk, I like Zay. Still wanted JuJu but receiver is all about confidence. To me whether or not the Bills have a shot at fielding a decent and reasonably productive WR corps in 2018 depends much more on the condition of Kelvin Benjamin's knees than than on any other factor, more even than on who is taking snaps under centre. If he stays healthy in this his contract year he will not only have a 1000+ yard season but will open the door of opportunity for the other guys who make the roster. Important also not to lose sight of the impact of what looks to be a major upgrade at OC. If KB is good to go we could well see a significant improvement not only in the passing game but in the O overall.
