How? Then tampa kicks a field goal with 1 second left as they have nothing to lose.

He forced a punt by calling that Timeout

As it was, the Bucs were going to have to scramble to the line and kick a rushed 59 yarder.

I can’t tell you why they didn’t go for the FG there. Pretty gutless by Bowles. The guy just hit a 57 yarder.

The defense has given up a 20 yard TD and a 57 yard FG, and they gave the ball back to the offense at the Tampa 20 yard line.  What more could you reasonably expect?

Some of the worst offenses in football not marching up and down the field in back to back to back weeks.  They blew contain on a screen pass for big yardage the first play when the bucs took over after the int lol. It’s just a guaranteed td when a bad opposing offense hits the 23? Something is very wrong with your defense if that’s the case

He didn’t panic and it ain’t that serious ……you guys act like that whole scenario cost us points or something……relax!

Bad in-game management especially around defensive TOs is a trend with McDermott. It’s one of his biggest weaknesses IMO.

They didn't kick it because the timeout was called.  They were going to if there wasn't going to be any time left.

Exactly. I don't understand what people don't understand. The timeout was 100% the right call.

It wasn't like they were trying to rush the FG team on with 8 seconds and no timeouts. They had 20 seconds. If the clock would've kept running, they'd have kicked it because they have nothing to lose at that point.

Once you call the TO, then if they miss it, they're giving the ball to Josh Allen at midfield with about 15 seconds and 2 timeouts. Pretty much automatic points for the Bills at that point.

Then call TO right away. He waited

So first you're going to yell at him for calling it.

Then you're going to yell at him for not calling it fast enough.

You have no idea what's going on around you, do you?

The big question is why did our moronic coach call a timeout so early?

The gameday thread is all massive overreactions without taking a moment to think about things haha

They scrambled with 15 seconds left. They had plenty of time to get settled down. You let the clock hit 3 and you attempt the kick with no risk.

Bills call a TO and the Bucs have that risk. You give the Bills the ball back at midfield. They have 1 play to have a FG attempt and if that fails the Bills still have a Hail Mary attempt.

163 total yards allowed is really good.  If you aren’t happy with the defense’s performance, then you need to adjust your expectations.

He tried to throw it to Kincaid…..go take a bathroom break 🙄

Give me a break. The defender was right in front of him. Throw it the other direction, take the sack, or try to evade the rusher. Don't throw it right at him.

Josh isn't perfect, guys. He does make mistakes.
