I've won quite a few fantasy football championships, thank you very much.

I also scored, like, 3 touchdowns in my high school football days. And I won 5 super bowls with the bills in Madden 2001 franchise mode, so I know a thing or two.

Other than sandlot football at the neighborhood park, I played OT for my grade school team (St. James Hornets), and in junior high I played DT in Midget Football (East Side Eagles).

I never coached, but I did play FF for two years in the early 90s and one year I actually did come in second place. 🙂

what if i did play violin in football and still went on to the nfl?

Then you would be multi-talented.

does it count if i coached high school football while still in high school? part of my time coaching DL was when i was injured and actually sat in coaches meetings and shiz.

Did you practice violin in the meetings?

I was assistant in high school football after I no longer could play due to a false diagnosis by doctor.

During games I was in charge of equipment which made me very popular with cheerleaders on rainy days since I was in charge of the rain cloaks players took off.  A number of them asked to borrow them when players on field.

1 x Super Tecmo Bowl Champion, thank you. 🤷‍♂️

I Dominated our league one year in the early 90's thanks to the play "Throw to Jerry on the bottom!".  I will forever feel fortunate that I got to work with such talented athletes back then and that I was able to out think, out coach and out handshake every other exec in our league.

HS and played WR.

I have no clue how to watch film inside the trenches so I rely on them for their insight.

I watched film as a WR but there's not really much there.  The guy covering you....get away from him.  The only time film was important to me is if I played the slot and we had a toss sweep or jet sweep on my side and either had to take out the DE or linebacker.

I used to play college football at South Central Louisiana State University for the  Mud Dogs. Mother was not agreeable to the whole idea of me playing, but I was a natural at my position. Don’t get me wrong, I loved my job as a hydration specialist, but foozball was my true calling.

Just so long as you stayed away from that Vickie Valencourt.

I'm a long-time TBD lurker, although I prefer 'legitimate peripheral participant'. I was just thinking about this the other day. This is a great question and should be pinned as it would help me know who I should be listening to. Personally, I ran cross country in high school, but played tackle football after practice without equipment. Fortunately, everyone that played weighed somewhere between 115 and 125 pounds in the day.

I never played organized football, so I really have no idea how to break down what's going on during a game, and I refrain from criticizing players for what might look like bad football skills. But I was otherwise a pretty dedicated athlete, so I at least feel qualified to gripe about dudes being out of shape.
