Dunkirk Don.

My friend works in game day ops for the Lions. He texted me around 2pm letting me know they were going to be having a meeting discussing the game getting moved, which is when I first posted on here.

You came through with the info Y.  You're our man for all things Detroit stadium-wise!

This is a complete win for the Bills. No ifs ands or buts about it.

Yep.

Josh has played quite well in domes throughout his career.

Meanwhile, a cold, windy day would've meant two things: advantage Browns, who have a much more consistent and punishing rushing attack than the Bills. And disadvantage Josh Allen -- I don't want a dude with an injured elbow having to whip the ball into the wind, and I can't imagine the cold would help either with regard to pain management.

You can even throw in "will make the Thursday Lions game a little more familiar" as the Bills will have JUST gone through this travel routine and stadium/locker rooms/turf situation.

I firmly believe the above mentioned advantages outweigh whatever loss in home field advantage happens (which isn't even a guarantee, as a decent number of Bills fans may still fill the stands in Detroit anyway.)

To add - he said it was a presale for BillsMafia.  I take that to mean first dibs before they open it to browns fans.  Although I dont know how they would identify one fan from another lol.  Maybe season ticket holders first?

But what If the bills can’t stop Chubb and Brissett in the dome?..

Our odds are better in a dome.

Anyone have an idea what ticket prices are going to look like?

If I recall that Jets game a few years back was $25 GA.

How are the Bills getting all their players to practice Friday, and how are they all getting to an airplane on Saturday?  Seems like Cleveland may have a logistics and practice advantage leading up to the game in Detroit.  Less disruptions and distractions.

Maybe the Bills are not thinking of themselves at all, and putting the safety of their employees, their fans, and the needs of their community way above their own? Maybe they are just being decent human beings and doing the right thing to do for all concerned? That is a good thing, right?

Didn't see this anywhere - what are the Bills' plans to actually get to Detroit?  And any word on whether they'll stay until Thursday?

Beane said in yesterdays late afternoon presser the plan is for the team to fly in Saturday (He has been told they have a window on Saturday to do so), Fly back Sunday and then Fly back out Wednesday for the Thanksgiving game and return home after that.

I initially thought it would make sense for them to stay in Detroit through next Thursday but I guess the logistics of practice/injury therapy would have been very difficult to manage.  They want to use their own facilities as much as possible.  Thankfully it’s a super short flight.

I always thought the safer thing would have been to keep the game in Buffalo but close it off completely to fans. Most employees could stay home. No longer a big deal after 2020. In-stead now we have thousands of Bills fans trying to travel from WNY and wherever else to get to Detroit in what I would suspect are not that great of road conditions.

Back injury from shoveling? Eye injury from being hit in a snowball fight?

Have you all noticed that since Nov. 4th,  the Bills, Sabres and UB Football (who were all winning up until then)… are a combined 0-11 ?

November has been just brutal for the local teams.

The Sabres have reached an all time low after another fast start. They are losing to all the bottom feeders and will most likely pick top 5 again. It's gonna take another couple years to see an arena that doesn't look empty.
