Of course for that style to be successful against an elite passing offense you have to keep pace with the other team, but if you manage that you end up minimizing total possessions and turn the game into a dogfight even against a superior opponent. It’s always a slant, quick out or back shoulder that is obviously scripted. They have an unbelievable TE, a decent #2 WR in Smith-Schuster, and a bunch of role players. Their pass protection is a little better than ours and run game with the RBs about the same. Their offense is really just Andy Reid's scheme plus elite play from Mahomes. Pretty much half of the Super Bowl winning QBs of the past 2 decades had an upper echelon running game. Beane needs to stop ****ing around and improve the O-line like he did to pass rush.
