What CincyBillsFan says about Mike Brown not firing coaches is very true. How else do you explain how much futility they endured before firing Marvin Lewis? But there is another thing. The Brown family has very little money, relatively speaking. For example, they have no facilities that the team owns of any kind. The county owns the stadium and there is no training complex. They practice in the stadium and the weight room is in the basement. They don’t even have a practice bubble, something even D3 college teams have. They also don’t pay a premium for assistants. They have the smallest scouting staff in the NFL. For many years, they had no college scouts at all. The only reason that they are winning now is that their core players are all on rookie contracts. Everyone talks about their cap space. They always have cap space and they never spend it. They won’t pay Tee Higgins. They might not pay Mixon. It’s not that he cheap, it’s that the team is his only asset of any value. 1

I didn't understand the concept of an owner who is very patient with the HC also micromanaging his staff. That's the opposite of patience. Also, the Brown family isn't paying these contracts out of their personal bank accounts. The shared revenue amount (free money revenue) last season was 274 million against a cap of 183 million. Then last year they had anderson, moore, samuel get the majority of targets. This season anderson/moore had like 270 targets. I'm not sure if he's good or bad, but its a position that had like no role in their offense. When he came out i know the knocks were that he was raw but i seem to remember him having upside as a blocker. If Brady wasn't designing plays to target this guy in Carolina while he actually played 60-65% of the snaps, why do we think they want to bring him here? 6 hours ago, Bangarang said: He’s a good blocker with some pass catching potential. It's possible Beane induces the Giants to swap a low draft pick or a low-end of the roster player if Daboll considers him useful as a player-coach to teach the system

In the old days receivers going over the middle were destroyed. Now if it's a zone read you can still go crossing route without the fear of targeting. Part of the reason our YAC is so pathetic is how few crosses & screens we call.
